I can't use eco it gave me the worst allergic reaction and eczema flair up it took me 6 months before i was back to normal i recently tried wetline extreme gel with the green lid and so far no allergic reactions but ive only used it twice and the eco it took me a week of using it before i finally figured out i was allergic to it and it was what was causing my eczema flair up and making me sneeze and have itchyy and wateryburning eyes thank you for this video

The Camille Rose curlmaker I now use it under ECO just to use it up. Makes great ringlets in my hair. Such a waste of money on these so called “alternatives” and when it’s humid out 😂😂😂😂 my hair turns into one huge puff ball when using these other products.

Ive been itching for months and couldn’t figure out why, also started having breathing issues 🙃 im just now finding out about eco styler. Been using it for years. Never put two n two together that when I shave my head my scalp us good. When I grow my hair out I use the gel n my scalp is messed up with dryness. 🤦🏾‍♀️ now I know.

I used eco gel all the time it dried out my hair and made it hard and had like 20 knots in my hair that were so hard to take out

Quality over quantity but $17 for a tiny 8 oz with the super long and thick hair that I’ve got…..NO WAY BAY BAY!! I’m gonna try and mix Aunt Jackie’s gel with Wetline gel

What gel do you use to do your buns?

Zeeeero hold all of them! Expensive and useless if hold is what you're after. I haven't tried Mielle Gel and the last one. But having she recommended them, I would definitely NOT buy. If hold isn't an issue, they are great product s. The Kinky curly I threw in the rubbish. My hair disliked it.

I didn’t know anything about the eco issue. Now I know why every time I try to use it, my skin would literally break out into dry patches. So glad o decided to leave it alone. But to each her own.

I love Kinky Curly! So many people say it’s a light hold but honestly it always gives me a cast and holds well but it’s a bit pricey for the amount given but it’s worth it I’m half way through it and I’ve had it for almost 3 months but I’m not using it alone.

I tried eco styling gel once and it dried out my 4c hair.......I simply use elasta care feels like silk gel with olive oil that soften and add shine and moisture to my hair.....

No, you cannot find something bad with practically every ingredient. On myself and my kids, I use hair products that only have all-natural ingredients. Just like with food, I would rather have natural ingredients than synthetic ones. Check out Anita Grant products or Ever Butter products.

What’s the difference between the mielle gels?

I accidentally dropped a penny into my argan oil eco styler gel and forgot about it. A few days later I notice that the yellow gel had turned green. I remebered the penny and fished it out to find the penny suuuuuper clean and the shiniest I have ever seen a penny. THAT was the moment I stopped using eco styler period!

I got dizzy from eco styler gel so I don't use it and I definitely cancelled it

I just threw out all non-natural gels (WetLine & Eco) and went back to Kinky Curly. I’m just growing my hair back down to arm-pit-length and I’m not trying to lose my progress.

I noticed my ends thinning out the last 2 washes, which for me equals the last 2 weeks. The ends were becoming dry, I thought it was the Arizona heat at first because we have a filter on the house, so I knew it wasn’t the water, then I did an assessment of my hair and my products and was able to pinpoint the cause as the gel.
I did a clay wash to suck it all off of my hair, shampooed my scalp and just went back to my natural journey beginning products, the Kinky Curly line. My ends and hair are once again moist and healthy looking.

I’m through trying to experiment with all this new stuff and if I’m honest with myself I don’t really need the super hold on my hair. The hold provided by natural gels/Kinky Curly more than get the job done. In addition to not giving me cancer or some other problems down the road.

I apply this same philosophy to everything that goes in/on my body.

Eco style used to make my scalp hurt really really badly. No I was not putting it on my scalp before anyone tries to ask. The chemicals in there were really harmful. They’re deffo canceled for me.

I've noticed over time using Eco styler for my edges the olive oil kind it my hairline started flaking and after the flaking it progressed to burning and this was years of using this stuff. Stop while you can..

I personally like eco for hold but not for slicking my hair back it doesn't keep it slick it dries really hard and leaves a little area where I can slip my hand underneath . but what I do like about It makes my hair feel really soft and non frizzy

It is our job as black women to educate other other sister’s regarding any harm & to promote health. Any business will do and say anything for the sake of keeping the money flow coming. There are a number of natural black own products we should be supporting that there is no question of harm. This is not a matter of opinion. No difference of when someone smokes cigarettes & it makes them feel relaxed but they also know it causes cancer. All of I’m saying is there is plenty of options out there & yes eco styler should be canceled & I thank the sisters who put it out there to inform all us!
