Valid points not to save that bugger 😂
Ответить"we can't put you in a new body, there are no compatible ones"
is he trying to gaslight us into forgetting the whole reason we are dying is because the biochip MADE our body only compatible with Johnny's engram? Just slot that thing in another corpse and wait
Na Fug that guy, I won't be anyone's tool or stepping stone.
Ответитьidk how to trigger this but there is an ending where Goro does a 180 and leaves arasaka in search of a better life, and he thanks V for setting him on that path
ОтветитьTakemura is a spineless hypocrite
ОтветитьI do not agree fully with every point in this vid, but it was a good vid and an interesting alternative point nonetheless.
ОтветитьI’ve got a good reason to save takemura
It’s called platinum trophy
Lot of things can be intentionally interpreted in multiple ways, I see no good reason to not save him if you try to play nice. But its very easy to not save him by mistake.
ОтветитьI didn't even realize I could save him until after my 2nd play thru.
ОтветитьNone of what he says has to be a like or contradictory. He was called because he is the closest thing to a friendly face V has in the corp. He has an important security position meaning that he would need to get permission from his boss to go an out of the way place as space. While discussing this with Hanako he could have learned that she had forgotten V and negotiated a deal for them. While a corporate man he also seems to be dedicated to living honorably and so would be honor bound to do what he can for V. Trusting that the corporation would act in kind.
ОтветитьOnly person that saved V was Jackie by handing her that biochip takemura to me was extremely annoying he’s a liar an he’s fake I’m cool I let his axss die I killed oda too screw em
ОтветитьJust wanted to throw this out there
Bo2 search and destroy was goated nothin but bong rips and fat clips
I didn't realize I could save Takemura because Johnny was rushing me. I'm sure the vast majority of players didn't realize that either. That's why this video ends up offside like a footballer in a hurry. And please add Turkish to your translated subtitles list. :p
ОтветитьIn many asian companies, especially Japan, employees are expected to devote themselves to said company for life. Devotion and loyalty are the hallmarks of japanese corporations. Goro's loyalty is pretty much par to the course. As a side note, that very corporate culture is currently a huge source of tension in Japan these days, as many younger citizens reject it.
ОтветитьHappy endings are like snow.
They don't happen in Night City.
I never went to the clinic
ОтветитьIt depends on which approach you use to decide, principle or consequencialism.
ОтветитьI believe there's a lot of weak points in his argument.
First is his argument that Takemura saved you so he could use you, but that's the only way that scenario can playout:
•He is chief of Soburo's security, but subsequently it makes him the closest witness to the son's murder thus a target himself. If he does nothing then he dies.
•Coincidentally the building already had a murderous gang of thieves in it walls...YOU, but also meams you were the only likely witness of what transpired. By all accounts if he doubted your innocence he'd have every right to kill you.
•If you were never in the building than you've never scrambled your brains with digital terrorism and Takemura would've been the escape goat of the murder.
•It is only the case of you committing a crime and Takemura believing your innocence where you and him survive.
Not to mention he is incredibly blunt with the fact that this is a quid pro quo: he gets a witness to prove his innocence and he can provide you with equal evidence of innocence AND potentially save you from the chip. It's a perfectly reasonable and fair deal.
The devil ending is obvious the sellout ending that Takemura wants. In that ending he does use a lot of double talk, so it does make his loyalty suspicious. If truthful he complete his deal to the best of his abilities which includes ability to resurrect in the future, but he cannot give you a guarantee this making it a 50/50 chance. While this could feel like a betrayal it's what you chose, you can only get here if you sided with the corpo board members to make it happen so it's a device of your own making and not Takemura's fault.
Where he does get angry is in the other endings where YOU actively betray him and his trust. In his perspective he saved you and offered a fair purposal, but instead you take the information gain from his efforts to attack the people he's negotiating with. This would understandably aggravate anyone. Especially considering that he is and now will forever be a target.
Where i can give credit is from the DLC tower ending. In this scenario you take an alternative path that sidelines Arasaka entirely. In this case Takemura takes his own action and ends in failure. Now he lives on the run, but he does not hate you despite his circumstance. In this he calls you bitter medicine; disagreeable even to a point of disgust but ultimately he realizes you were right to not trust the corporation. You were the cure he needed.
Takemura's motivation is survival but ultimately you dictate his ultimate philosophy and life going forward: the agent, the rat, or the Rouge.
A "honourable" mordor orc is still a orc that serves Sauron.
The only reason why Takamura was worth saving is to be able to see his true colors after i raided arasaka tower. Priceless
Only reason i do the Arasaka ending is because of good ol' Goro, i just love him too much
ОтветитьI have to disagree with several points.
First of all, I believe if Arasaka genuinely wanted to grab V's engram without trying to help them, then they would have. They wouldn't have offered a contract or let V leave, they would have just done so.
Secondly, the ending phone call where he threatens you occurs because you just attacked Arasaka. Of course he would be infuriated.
Theres so much choice theres no wrong way or right what what makes you think your better than johny silver hu what makes you bettwr your character is a stone cold killer regardless and a terrorist i hate the fact v is scared of having a terrorist stuck in his head didnt you rob a building for a chip basically pulling the same shit as Johnny might aswel embrace Johnny as friend your no better than him your character kills peaple so what makes him better tell me now
ОтветитьI only save him because i respect him as a man.
Shit he's a bunch of lines of code and a puppeted 3d model but they still managed to pull that off.
For all of you who still think he is your friend... after the abduction when Hanako visits you as/with a Proxy Doll. She says that they have Goro and that he immediately sold you out, and tells them he has placed a tracker in you.
First of all, a Tracker ? What a dipshit and then gives that info away for possibly Saka Ninjas to hunt you down.
I like him as a Character cause he made me laugh a few times. The Boomer pics and quirks are really funny to me.. but he is Saka through and through and if they work against V, he will side with them. The Call in the end just confirms it.
He is a good fella
I went back from the last mission to save him because didn't know I could save him in that mission
The Devil ending is extreme case of bad writing. The Devs pretty much give you shitty options and laugh at you for choosing corporation.
Ответить>"dont save Takamura"
>wayy ahead of you there
My first ending (prior to phantom liberty) was Where is My Mind. I picked the corpo lifepath and before I read into the lore, I was just like Takemura and still felt loyal to the company that had discarded me for being an underling ordered to kill a rival at Arasaka while having no actual choice in either matter. I was nasty to Johnny Silverhand and had the worst relationship possible with him naturally. I attempted to get in Hanako's good graces by saving her and Oda by opposing Yorinobu, but forgot to save Takemura. I thought it was because of that case that I didn't get a chance to go back to the corp and have better standing as I was one of the best netrunning solos around with high street cred; the type of cred Takemura had when he got noticed by the corp. I also genuinely felt like the secure your soul program was genuinely beneficial for me as V to live on. Now knowing what I know about the lore of the megacorp and of Johnny, even as an ex-corpo, I would instead side with Johnny all the way and give a big Middle Finger to Arasaka to destroy the entire thing just like Johnny did in 2023.
ОтветитьI never liked him. He's loyal to Arisaka till death, and everyone else means nothing to him. If he can't use you, you are not worthy of his attention, you're scum. If your character gets turned into a prisoner, Arisaka will turn you into something else, possibly a Assassin cyborg.
ОтветитьHe didn’t defect against arasaka to save us. He called Yorinubo when he found us and told him: i found your dad’s killer.
He intended to deliver us to arasaka, however Yorinubo upon hearing that we are still alive, send a hit squad to wipe out us and Goro. Only then Goro is on our side. Ny guess is that he had his suspicions about Yurinubo killing his father but the hit on his life and us was the final proof.
My only gripe, you sisnt read the contract. Quite literlly says the Seller, V, has the right to terminate the engram at any time. It doesn't say he looses all rights
ОтветитьTakemura is about as honorable as you'll get in Night City. I think he genuinely sees V as a friend, but he owes Arasaka more than he does V. We may have saved him once or twice, but Arasaka is the reason he's not the street rat he used to be as a kid. Pair that with the clear friendship he had with Saburo, and we can see that betraying Arasaka is just not in his vocabulary.
Reed is basically the same, but with the FIA and the NUSA.
The difference there is Takemura still shows respect even if V refuses Arasaka's deal. Reed, on the other hand, is out to kill you the moment you turn your back on the FIA.
In a city full of backstabbers, I'll take a Goro Takemura over any of them all day. And a Jackie Welles.
Nuh-uhhh i will save him
ОтветитьWith the tech that they have can't they clone V's body? Everyone goes happy even johnny would have come back from digital exile
ОтветитьYou talking recklessly about Goro, my guy. Your energy feels like you might not have touched Jackie before getting out of the car.
ОтветитьU are most dishonorable. Goro must be saved.
ОтветитьYeah a Samurai busting open the head of a black gorilla with a huge ass power pistol (ig), would make more sense if he atleast used a fking projectile knife straight to Dexs head or yknow somethin like that. I think hes just a corpo dog doing his job in a whatever way out there and then making it look like a good philosophical pov on his part for an excuse. Imo Goro aint a so called Samurai that justifies his actions, hes just a dog serving loyally to a powerful master that offers him a good variety of food.
ОтветитьNah, I'll still save him 👍
ОтветитьBut i Miss the devil achivment
ОтветитьOne thing ,the fact Takemura needs you is also a bit personal , because when he finds you he calls to Yorinobu too tell him he found his fathers killer and Yorinobu sends a hit squads after Takemura and V..
Yes he needs you for a trail .. but he is right that Arasaka is maybe the only one that can save you from the chip ( also helping Takemura and giving evidence can help you get Arasaka of your back for the dead of Saburo their leader.. !)
The first time i played i failed too save Takemura.. but i think i gonna save him this time .. he saved me once , at least i can return a favor.
Takemura is not your friend. His only goal is to return to Arasaka and deliver you and the chip back to Hanako. You know. The villain.
ОтветитьV owes him one for saving his ass. Saving takemura makes us even
ОтветитьNever saved him anyway 🤣
ОтветитьI was so stressed about making the right decision at the end that i chose the absolute worst ending all in the name of my homie Takemura, man getting all them phone calls from everyone else made me so sad
ОтветитьDan the man that has no loyalty. Eww bruv🥸
ОтветитьWhat bothers me about this whole thing with preserving V in Mikoshi until they find a suitable puppet is just simply, why can't they just make a robot for V to pilot?
Ответитьi saved Goro to get even with him, i understand his rude farewell at the end of any other Path than the Arasaka one,
but F him and F the Corpos that just want to make a Trophy out of V, i bet after they extracted the Relic, Johnny got back to Saburo to be his Trophy again
(Worst ending is the N.U.S.A. ending tbh, thats the ending with the maximum betrayal -> Johnny, Vic, Misty and especially Jackie)
That's why in this game you ALWAYS listen to Johnny, he seems to know a lot about what's right and wrong to do in the story like when he told you not to trust the corpo in the Placide mission. Johnny seemed to know that Takemura only had Arasaka's interests in mind
ОтветитьL take...
Ответить
