made me think like that
Sectioned is such an underrated band
Ответить1999 - Frequenting mass transit???
Ответитьi wish there were more metal influenced mathcore bands. there's like 6 bands in the entire genre that are good. the rest of the genre is predominantly hardcore influenced. that's pretty much the only reason i prefer prog metal, otherwise i would probably exclusively be into mathcore.
ОтветитьSounds like COD zombies
ОтветитьI feel like fall of Troy listening to a lot of psypus the riff patterns sound similar
Ответитьtrenchlung photo is wrong. Thats dismata... Cool to see some local friends on the gig
ОтветитьWould've included rolo tomassi too. They kick ass
ОтветитьDidn’t forget Candiria or Botch, but I was impressed to see Rorschach and Coalesce on this list. They’re often overlooked.
ОтветитьBefore today I only ever listened to two mathcore bands. Pretty sure you can guess who they are. Um... no, it's still just only two.
ОтветитьAwesome list, but kinda shocked not to see Car Bomb anywhere on here
ОтветитьOh how did I miss this...
Coalesce, Botch, Breather Resist and Burnt By The Sun included 🎉🎉🎉 that's how you f/w the more overlooked OGs
Sectioned was so fucking underrated
Ответитьfound dead hanging?
today is the day
pg99?
locust?
melt banana?
orchid?
Some powerviolence shit like prototype?
A lot of the bands I thought should be on the list are already mentioned in the comments but I’ll speak up for one I’m not seeing. See You Next Tuesday.
Ответить1991 - vocals 😂😂😂
ОтветитьHardcore
ОтветитьGo to Google, type in Claymore Kitsap County and go listen to the music they have on the Bandcamp. Amazing Mathcore/sludge music from Kitsap County, Port Orchard WA. If you like the bands in this video you will like Claymore. Thank me later.
ОтветитьBotch is the best band ever ... Ever.
ОтветитьYoooooo Fero Lux! Those are my homies! Love seeing those guys live.
ОтветитьGizmachi
ОтветитьThis list is sick, thanks for making this! Brings back a ton of memories... but I have to ask - no Hella? Locust?
ОтветитьNice list but no Between the Buried and Me? 🤦
ОтветитьSender Reciever (later changed thrir nsme to Ringbeearer ) is thr shit! Met them after a show circa 2008ish Were really good dudes.
ОтветитьWTF where is (BAND I LIKE)???
ОтветитьI like math. I like hardcore. I don’t like mathcore. Sorry kids.
ОтветитьI know you're not supposed to say all of any genre sounds the same, but... Yikes
ОтветитьI was going to riot if psyopus wasn't on the list
ОтветитьI think The Great Redneck Hope also deserves a spot on this list.
If you've never heard them, start with Behold, The Fvck Thunder
So many bands missed
Ответитьwell, this video kinda missed inbetween genre evolution.
bands mention before 1994 have nothing to do with mathcore.
ben weinman sited dazzling killmen as inpiration, so the proper way would be to start with early math rock bands in general. butterglove, breadwinner, dazzling killmen, don caballero.
Into the moat, the number 12 looks like you. Now i need to go and dust off my burnt by rhe sun discs.
ОтветитьNo Between the Buried and me??? Also no Blood has been Shed?.....2 intrical bands for this genre
ОтветитьI usually love almost every kind of metal, and I did not know the name of this genre before today. EVERY ONE of these songs made me go "blank stare" or "turn this shit off."
Thank you for helping me put a name to "that shitty chaotic metal that even I won't listen to." It's name is Mathcore.
God: "Do you want melody or groove?"
Mathcore: no
I was waiting for 2003 into the moat
ОтветитьAnimosity????!?!?!?
ОтветитьI saw Rorschach live in 2011. Amazing band.
ОтветитьHey man I don’t usually listen to straight mathcore or whatever usually only listen to death metal bands that have elements of it in the music but I was curious stumbled on this code and it’s such a huge breath of fresh air to hear that band Telos so I went and bought the album and the first song within reach blew me away so sick
ОтветитьA black rose burial
ОтветитьNo Nomeansno? That's just Wrong
ОтветитьListen to all these fucking good harsh ❤
Ответитьhave you never wrestled a bear? I know I did. once.
ОтветитьBurnt by the Sun is my jam.
Ответитьthey all sound the same and im cool with it
ОтветитьNo Deadguy or Ion Dissonance? Wow. Sick you included Fero Lux though. For newer you need to add The Callous Daoboys and Frontierer
ОтветитьThe Locust is missing
ОтветитьThe year 2000 was such a weird time in metal😅 suprised to notnsee norma jean there tho
ОтветитьFor anyone else is reading the comments looking for more like this, look up Hayworth. Their album “i now pronounce you fucked and depressed” is just art.
Ответитьchrist literally barely changed since 1993 and STILL nobody does it better than Dillinger SURELY SOMEBODY can knock em off the top spot
ОтветитьShout out to Human Remains (one of the first tech death bands) and Rorschach (one of the first metalcore bands). Lethargy is kickass too and their guitarist/vocalist also put out good stuff in his earlier band Matrikhore.
Ответить
