The thing Hector loves the most is the sensation of being feared. He's so insecure and childish that he can't hold himself of acting like a bully so he can people respects him. That's why it wasn't an issue for Gus to eventually take him out of bussiness.
ОтветитьI love how Hector is such an important piece of Breaking Bad but we never knew how he ended up in that chair until BCS
ОтветитьThis was the moment Manuel became Papi.
ОтветитьIs that amount of money enough to buy Papi's principles?
ОтветитьI really like the comparison of Nacho with his dad to Mike and his son. Mike convinced his son to take a bribe from crooked police officers. But the officers didn't trust him, so they killed him. Nacho convinces his father to take a bribe from Hector. But Hector doesn't trust him. In either case, like Mike said, I think this is the one person (Mike or Nacho in each case) that could get him to debase himself (Matty or Nacho's dad) and take the money.
Ответить``i don`t trust him``
then don`t do buisness with random normal civilians that did not even asked to work for you lmao... Hector`s logic makes no sense...especially for messing out with his own crew member`s family... IQ negative 50 lol
The way Hector spread the money out, so that Nacho's father could see "all the money he'd make" visually, felt extremely condescending as well.
ОтветитьTurns Don gave advice to others about family, but didn't take his own advice
ОтветитьHector easily at his most hateable here
ОтветитьThe bell in the counter is an incredible piece of foreshadowing.
ОтветитьThis is probably one of Hector's greatest blunders, threatening Nacho's father would lead his ultimate downfall. As he said himself "Family matters most".
ОтветитьLoved the Nacho character.
ОтветитьThe irony and hypocrisy where a man with no moral compass at all distrusts another man with impeccable integrity
ОтветитьImagine having to kiss this evil old buzzard’s ass for ten minutes. Let alone years.
ОтветитьRuelajate! somous amigous!
ОтветитьWas Hector really going to kill Nacho’s father tho? Maybe he would’ve just taken his business elsewhere
ОтветитьI think the title is the other way around
ОтветитьIt's a sad scene, tbh nacho really cares for his dad (unlike most cartel members who dont even have the privilege of having a rolemodel let alone a parent) and Hector knows that's, so he's using it against him to pressure him. Would love to have seen what would have happened if he just accepted the money... it would be a different scene.
ОтветитьDon Hector is so immature. How did he get so far?
ОтветитьPride is the greatest sin for a good reason.
As a fisherman I can 100 💯 percent say that the only fish 🎣 I catch are the ones that have a big mouth 👄 and can’t keep their mouths shut.
Facts 😂🎣
Does anyone know if it was intentional for Mike and Nacho’s stories to align in terms of family? Mike getting his son take dirty money and getting him killed where Nacho got his dad take dirty money and it was going to get him killed until Nacho sacrificed his life
ОтветитьNachos father is a real man
ОтветитьThat is courage standing up to a bully and a gangster.
ОтветитьCriminals know each other.
ОтветитьPossibly the most evil character in the Breaking Bad universe. I can't believe he would throw a kind old man out of his shop, especially after he offered him free money. Disgusting!
ОтветитьWhy would nacho offer up his dads business as a place to process drugs?
Ответить- Be a cartel don, your crew is mostly a legacy member used for muscle. Preach loyalty to family n shit.
- Have an inner circle of loyal, effective enforcers
- Need more distribution centers for your product
- Buy an ice cream shop, problem solved
- Actually, one of your best enforcers' dad owns a business. You want this one too.
- Enforcer says its a bad idea because his dad is a straight arrow that will never stand for our business
- Attempt to buy him out, he tells you to fuck off
- Tell your enforcer that you're gonna kill his dad because he said mean words to you
- your enforcer cripples you for life
Seriously, what the fuck was this guys problem
This is the moment Don Hector needed to become Don Handicapped
ОтветитьThe shameless to put a fucking watermark on shit you don’t own
ОтветитьI realize this actually parallels Mike forcing his son to take the money which leads to his son getting killed. Nacho and his father is essentially the opposite outcome but still very similar.
ОтветитьNacho is a complex character. At the outset, yes, he's a criminal and there's no way around that. But he's not evil to the core or anything and if he had everything to do over again, I think there's at least a chance he would have chosen a different path. But by this point, he was in WAY too deep and that was it.
ОтветитьHector done been a G tho....
ОтветитьIf anything else, that payoff from Hector looked pitiful. Maybe that's the reason for Papi's derision - being lowballed from a heavy hitting cartel guy with untold millions
ОтветитьOne of the most innocent characters and the most evil character interacting.
ОтветитьBro lays out about $750 in $50 bills and acts like he did something special.
ОтветитьGotta remember that man hector he aint powerful because he can throw hands
ОтветитьA man for heaven
ОтветитьThings could have been different if Nacho's father said "Don Hector, money is ok but I don't care about them really. All I care about is my son's safety... for me, family is everything."
ОтветитьI still think Nacho could have avoided the situation that his father will never do it .....period ....what Hector could have done ? Beat Nacho badly ? Kill Nacho ? Don't think so ....but atleast it would be quick death
Ответитьaaah they teased us with that bell on the countertop
ОтветитьHector: I dont trust him. Well noone wanted you there anyway
ОтветитьBeing a Man like Nacho's Dad should be every young Mans goal.
ОтветитьWhen Don Hector sealed his fate to be tied to a wheelchair. You can see a bell that foreshadows that on the desk
Ответить
