the reason you were dying was because the dog was hiding in the shower behind the curtains, whenever you hear the metal scraping sound you are supposed to go to the bathroom cam and click on the glowing curtains to open them, that is where you can find the dog

For anyone wondering this is very canon lore to the Smiles Family.

Night Watch is a prequel to the first events shown of the Smiles Family just like Submarine Simulator. But this time it follows The Gorilla (The Angel) on the game to watch over the family while Jerry is possessing over Boxie. From what I know, Boxie got adopted on November 23 1994, 4 days before you/Albert visited the Smiles Family (Who Jerry referenced as the visitor). And no, that is not Diamond eyes. Diamond eyes appeared to be powerless around that time, evident from her manipulating Roy, Lloyd and Robert instead of actually appearing to haunt the family. So instead, Jerry got out of the Mariana Trench after killing Brian (the mc of Submarine Simulator) to kill the family. But failed because of the disturbance of the Gorilla. Jerry appears to be the weakest of the three whatever the fuck are those, which means that the Smiles Family myth might be far from over. If anyone is curious tho, Diamond eyes died on 2013, 19 years after the first events and yes, she is active around that time and relied on Jerry for the time being.
