Hardtail Vs Full Suspension Mountain Bike!

Is a full suspension even necessary if I just plan on riding easy or intermediate trails? Seems like full suspensions are overkill for people like me

Moved from a full sus to a hard tail because of hill climbs. Yes the full sus can do it but wow the loss of power is noticable and hardtail can do everything els aswell might not be gracefull but it will be fun 😂 so my choice is hard tail!!!

Mullets are not well balanced. Also, it will differ versus your front clearance. And going up hill will suck!

So I think the full suspension is more of a special purpose bike and hardtail is good for all around except down hil racing.

Well, my reason I ride hardtail because its cheaper lol. Proper full suspension bike price here is basically more expensive that buying beginner sport bike lol.😂

But it's all smooth enough to ride my skateboard's on when it's dry

I ride both bikes and honestly on a proper road hardrail is better its faster and more efficient
If the road that youre doing through has bumps,potholes ect definitely full suspension its better at keeping its momentum,keeping my butt comfortable,and really satisfying
It depends on your area that youre going to ride through because where i live the roads have lots of potholes so i usually ride dual suspension aka full suspension

Just got 2 hard tails, a medium fuse sport for me and a small base fuse for my wife . We’re ready to huck the hard tails for the summer!!

I feel that you can take what a hardtail lacks and make up the difference against a full-sus with technique and improvisation, but you cannot take away what a full-sus HAS that limits it against the hardtail.
