Heroes of Might and Magic 5: Haven Random Map

I like the gargoyles as I feel they fit the middle-eastern theme of the academy very well.

Galu, you should look up a game called Dominions 4. It's gameplay is somewhat similar to this. The combat is quite different than this, but a lot of things are similar otherwise. I think you would really like it. It's very complex and has an absolutely insane amount of depth. I've got 65+ hours in the game, and I haven't mastered a single faction yet.

Hello Arachir just wondering have the Lindon Eldarinwe models been fixed for the next patch ( what I mean by fixed) - is during a battle if you zoom out the spearman closes turn red and when all the Eldarinwe models are running there model goes goofy. sorry I was just wondering as I am playing lindon the now and just noticed it.

You should check out a game called Eador: Masters of the Broken World or the older one Eador: Genesis if you haven't played them already. I found them pretty enjoyable and they are heavily influenced by the HOMM series but still different enough.

I thought this a nice addition to your roseter of gaming videos and wouldn't be opposed to seeing some more of HoMM :)

just like diablo 3, complete crap.
if people like this kind of games, these sparkly, shiny, cartoonish kind of games, that's fine. but heroes at its roots is not that. some seem to think the game has "progressed" and that it has "improved" its graphics, but it actualy degenerated into a silly looking children game.
it's like watching a sequel to your favorite horror/gothic/adventure movie only to find out it has been turned into a family friendly piece of crap.
at least realease it under a different name, heores of sparks and snowflake, or something

I know this video is old but I wanted to tell you that there is a setting you have to choose when generating the map so that you can select/change the factions however you want.

It was stupid that the feature was hidden away but once I figured it out I really fell in love with the game years ago.

have similar opinion 24years. heroes3 next one heroes5.. the rest is just unplayable.

The hidden super skills were hit or miss imo. Dwarfs and elves were broken (all hits are unlucky and all hits are lucky respectively). The demons get instant gating. Wizards get all spells. The rest get upgrades to some of their perks, where the only good one was the orcs for 500 free blood rage. They all took between 23 to 27 levels if a character could get them. I wasnt big on it and way prefer the mod.

HoMM2 > HoMM3 > HoMM5

I dont know why but my HoMM5 Tribes of the east hud is extremely small, is there any way to fix it?

The rise of HoMM was up to and including III, widely considered to be unarguably the best of the series and still running today under community support aside from the controversial HD Edition; IV took a step back but V saw some progress in redeeming the series, but that was the beginning of the end
