PERSONA 4 GOLDEN | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

The Persona RPG series are amongst some of my favorite video games out there and especially the fourth entry holds a special place in my heart. It was my introduction to the Persona franchise and with its vibrant color scheme, likeable characters and overall chill tone of the countryside setting it is an ideal game to play during your vacation. We play as a student who relocates to the countryside for a whole school year and we will get to know and befriend a whole cast of varied characters.
But it doesn't take long until mysterious disappearances start happening and it all has something to do with what happens on tv at midnight when it rains! The story is full of awesome twists and turns and offers some of the best storytelling when it comes to JRPGs and RPGs in general.
It is a mixture between a social life simulator and a dungeon crawler where you need to schedule time in between meeting and hanging out with friends, working a part-time job and going through dungeons to save the world. Therefore there is such a relaxed mood in this game that is sometimes combined with the excitement of a boss battle or two. The voice acting is stellar too with some of the best in the industry. The performances had me laugh out loud multiple times or sometimes even tear up when they delivered their lines.
Compared to Persona 3 it pretty much improves on every aspect. The game is also really long and so I had never actually completed the game. Therefore I was happy that the Golden version came to Steam so that I could finally sit down again and complete this masterpiece. I will definitely also archive the other Persona games, but this one was special to me and so I made sure to archive it first.
