CD PROJEKT are all Liars - (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)

The response to this video has been overwhelming and incredible. After spending about 100 hours putting it all together, I was worried how people would end up receiving it. I'm really glad so many of you gave it a chance and listened to what I had to say. I have seen a few questions / comments so I wanted to clear up somethings.

1. I played my game on PC at almost Max Settings (at the start I show my Steam Hours) - I bought the collectors edition for Xbox, but I didn't play it (you see me open it for the first time at the end of the video)

2. There is NOT a perk to use a body as a Human Shield while firing. Some people have mentioned the 'Transporter Perk' but the confusion there is that the perk allows you to fire while CARRYING a body over your shoulder. Not using it as a Human Shield (like in the image of the icon AND in some promotional material for the game), so that Perk does not give you the added defense benefit from the Perk I showed in the video. (Also, even if it DID, who the heck is picking up a body mid fight and just carrying it around? lol)

3. That not EVERYONE at CD Projekt are Liars. Yes this is true and I address that in the video. I would still love to talk with someone who worked on the game.

the people do not act real. shoots a gun and expects them to still be there. game has massively improved since launch. i have had civilians shoot me for pulling a weapon out. judge it by what it is not what it was/

Just finished playing for the first time, it's alright now, but launching a game at that state is inexcusable and even today the game seems a shadow of their initial vision for it

Aged horribly

I was playing the game in 2024, the year where the game is supposed to be perfect, but my buddy still walked through my car like a ghost.

im SO happy that my pc couldnt handle the game when i first got it cuz it was the time when it was glitch city. a year or so later, i got a new good pc and my first time was good enough. no major glitches or bugs that i can remember at least and i could finish the game. thankful for that.

Promos for the game suggested you could freeroam from the start, at least that's the impression I got. First you have to complete a number of missions before you can do this.

I would LOVE to see a "Revisiting Cyberpunk" video from you. This video is how I discovered you, and it has remained as my favorite game coverage by you.

And if you go back to the game NOW I’d say it’s on par if not better than the Witcher 3 depending on your preference in game setting

😂 Wow! This video and others like it sure did age poorly. People who weren’t aware of issues at launch must come across videos like this and think you guys are on CRACK! CDPR did what most companies don’t do they not only FIXED their mistake but 3 years on they turned Cyberpunk 2077 into one of the best games of the past DECADE! 😂😂😂

Since links adventure was brought up, I feel like this comparison was appropriate and should be mentioned. Breath of the wild has a mixed shopping system, where there are physical items, but its also just a ui element. There are some things that botw shopping does better though: in a way, its better than red dead shopping, because the items do disappear when you get them. Meanwhile, its just better than cyberpunks shopping in general -_-

Still the best Cyberpunk 2077 review out there. The things that he addresses in this video is so accurate. It was never about the bugs, it's the empty and hollow world that brings down this game. Still I thought it was a decent game at launch and it is decent still today with the expansion. Just gotta remember that CD PROJEKT are all Liars with the next game they release so you can keep you expectations check.

I bought cyberpunk when it first came out for my PlayStation 4 Slim which is considered to be the worst possible option but I must have got a really good copy of the game or something because I never had any problems in the game the only problem I came across that was pretty annoying was I really liked using the motorcycles to get around and I couldn't go top speed because the game couldn't load fast enough but I just quit driving unless I had to go super long distance and I just started walking around and just exploring the city and actually started enjoying the game a lot more than but I never had any major game-breaking glitches like cars flying or glitching in the objects or anything like that my save file is still a day one save file and after all the updates for PlayStation 4 even though they're no longer updating it it's working perfectly so honestly I don't understand the hate towards this game and I don't see how people have had such bad experiences I really enjoyed the game when it first came out and I was playing through it and I still put it in and every now and again and play more of it I think I've played through the game like 10 times

here in 2024 spent 60 hours in this game and not even close to disappointed its amazing how they fixed it even though it still has bugs

Anyone know if the problems and faults shown in this video were addressed? Not the bugs. But mechanics, gameplay, etc. Been thinking of buying the game, but won't if the actual game remains the same

I love how some people claim that it is a good game now after all the patches. They do it to cope with themselves for buying it years ago 😂

You should give Cyberpunk 2077 another shot now. I genuinely think this game after all of its patches and fixes is a genuine masterpiece and one of the greatest RPGs of all time

CDPR, are cheats, and liars.

They have completely screwed over the ps4 and xbox one users by not giving them the dlc. The ps4 and xbox one users were the main people who were buying cyberpunk in the first place.

I came back and played the "fixed" Cyberpunk 2077 with their big 2.0 patch.

The best analogy I can give is like welcoming your cheating ex who has fix a bit about his/her behaviour or looks, but you know it's superficial and hollow.

Cuz that what it felt like.

Sure, you can now get car chases, skills and gameplay mechanics are somewhat improved, the visual for cyberaugementation is kinda cool, and the driving too has been improved , but

It still a hollow experience beyond that. The problem has always been with the core game design, not the gliches n bugs.

So for that I pray nobody here get the preorder for Phantom Liberty. Don't be a sheep.

The modding community has been given the free hand with all these E3 files and almost 80% of these missing you will be able to actually experience after the 2.0 update, and with some little-to-zero ability to mod, just basically need to know how to use the browser and drag and drop files. Even the Metro System has been modded in. Just think about it, maybe time for update review now that Phantom Liberty is comming up?

Insane thing is that after all the patches and 2 years its pretty much the same, same shallow experience. Only thing they fixed are the bugs..thats it

CDPR actually didnt really work on the game til last minute, all they were doing was throwing a bunch of nonsensical ideas and then scrapping them altogether. Til the day of the launch neared and they had no choice but to announce they need a few more months or so to "fix some more issues"

At least CDPR the past 3 years have been dedicated to fixing and delivering on some of their promises. However it doesn't excuse the lies the higher ups at the company made. I just hope the sequel is a bigger and better game that CP2077 didn't turn out to be

2 Years later it was all clear. CDP was foreshadowing that people in the future can't drive.

No one's going to see this comment probably, since there's over 10k, but the whole thing about how there'd be "over 1000 NPCs with unique day/night routines" was a bad translation some guy on Reddit posted from a German interview on the Cyberpunk subreddit, and then like 100 gaming journalists just used it as a source, not even bothering to check whether or not the translation was correct. Point being CDPR literally never promised unique routines for over 1000 NPCs over 24 in-game hours: that's insanely unrealistic to expect and would take years of time to craft all that content.
