Anybody can lock the car if you hit the button once without engaging the alarm, you’re proving nothing that you are a fool that thinks we’re stupid again I can do that with my car I can hit the lock button wants to lock all the doors and not engage the alarm all you people just my Teslas to try to run your mouth about them, saying they have issues and everything else and then make a viral videos for attention but you only make yourself look stupid

So, if you lock the car/or it locks itself, you can get out of it, because, safety. So, why are you surprised you can open the door when the window is open. This can be done on other cars as well. If you don't want anyone messing about inside the car, you close the window.

If you're the type to forget windows, then enable app notifications for windows, or enable automatic closing of windows when car is locked. (Noticed the date, this is a later function, but a relevant point today even so).

Opening the windows does not simulate a broken window, because the alarm reacts to the glass shattering, or at least this is typical behavior for car alarms.

Now, shaking the car slightly should not enable the alarm, then it would set off every time there is a little windy outside. However, if someone tried to lift the car, or move it, the alarm sets off. If you take a ferry when the water is rough, then this could set off the alarm.

As far as I can tell, the alarm is working as intended, and your testing is flawed.

You should make a new video about tesla alarm in 2023 or2024 maybe

For those curious about COVID19's impact on this channel:
- At the moment the UK government's advice it only to stay at home if you or someone in your household is showing symptoms of the virus. Right now Becky & I are both fine.
- Despite this, we're obviously staying inside a lot more just incase.
- The two of us driving around the countryside for a couple of hours per week by ourselves and not coming into contact with anyone is very low risk anyway.

So unless the government advice changes, or one of us start showing symptoms of COVID19, there WILL still be 2 Tesla videos per week!
