before one day i rejected due to i am not done this operation tqsm

When i am adding sql database,it is added but in Server Explorer after expanding Data Connections, i get a .mdf File ,but .mdf file is red crossed ,so not working , means .mdf file is not expanding...why this??can you please tell the reason for rhs and how to remove this and run the Gridview like this in the video???
