Sorry does double grip count on a 2H weapon? Like would a jester get that bonus for double grip with a 2H weapon or just a 1H weapon with the 2nd hand empty?

40 hours in and I had no idea what the stars meant or that you could rearrange the fighting line

Little tip for the beast fighting missions. I lure the damn things into a neutral party and then attack them so I have extra meatshields distracting them. Hell even other bandits work as theyll still be foes but theyll attack each other. Found that out when a party of barbarians was close by a clear zombies location mission.

i had such a cursed seed in my first playthrough. only seaports are on the only middle nation and theres not much sea. but the sea parts the south from the rest of the world. and the only way to get to the south on caravans is through a pass that is all the way to the farthest east and is far away from all civilization it is also covered by mountains and its surrounded by goblins and brigands. its just cursed and difficult to travel.

I've played for 30 hours and still often get stuck in early game. I think only once did I take off.

I've still had a lot of fun figuring out how to beat different kinds of enemies, but rolling a die during early game, fighting the same enemies over and over again has gotten a bit tiring. So thanks for sharing these tips, I'll try them and hopefully get more consistent during the early game. :)

No matter what I do in this game I just get absolutely smashed by anything. I just wish that there was a life path that gave you the ability to just play the game easily and get used to everything without everyone dying constantly.

This game... It pisses me off, the enemy can hit me always and I can never hit them it's just plain stupid and they wear the same weapons as me...

Perhaps its just my own atrocious luck but every time i start this game up again and try to follow the first basic piece of advice of every guide to get brigand contracts I ONLY get offered escort missions and end up caravaning across 6-8 locations and half the damn map before i find MAYBE one or two brigand contracts by like day 8 or 9 if im lucky. But by then i already feel so behind i just quit out and start again only to get the same frustrating results. Then this guy just loads a random seed, easily stops by the first town and goes "oh yeah see here, this is what you want". I want to like this game and i keep trying but it feels like i have an entirely different version installed from what i see happen in others gameplay

So I'm glad to watch this video as the more I play the worse I seem to get. I'm at 36 hours and yesterday I set a new record for myself, losing in 4 days 😢

Shame you cant add a brief description to each character, instead of using the title slot. I like the titles, especially the way theyre done in wartales. Very simple, but adds a lot of personality.

5 years later most important mod for still is the "show recruits Talents" mod
played one game with million quicksaces to hire recruits and reload if theyre shit.

mod waaaay better if you just see the stats of all recruits
