👌🏾👌🏾
ОтветитьSeems appropriate. My friend said axles usually cost half or more of the whole build.
ОтветитьJust baught my zj and am watching this series and the comp
ОтветитьDo you happen to know if I was to swap a high pinion Dana 30 from an xj into my zj could I reuse the driveshaft? Or would the high pinion axle require a different length driveshaft
ОтветитьThe rear axle truss was set up correctly for a tj zjs have always had different spacing you can reuse some of the rear arms tho
Ответить5k? More like 10k in tools and welding equipped and money for someone to take care of my kids while i figure this one out lol jokes a side i really like all the effort and final product great job. I am looking for a jeep this years myself just for beach use. I used to have a really nice 05 sequoia but someone offered me good money for it so thats gone. This year i will start a jeep zj build
ОтветитьI got a question you might be able to answer. 2nd gen 2500 gear box on a wj, is it possible?
ОтветитьFantastic....I can't see BK taking this time(away from their paying customers) to do this kinda work. This is straight up love right here.
ОтветитьShipping is so expensive that I can't order. Maybe you can help me get parts cheaply.. :(
ОтветитьHello Friend. I also have a 1994 Grand Cherokee.. I really love that American muscle. I would love to replace what you replaced on car.. unfortunately there is no way to do that here... :(
Ответитьi need to do that rocker rail mod cuz mine got some rust id like to cull
ОтветитьI'm going to do the 2x6 steel rocker panels. Great idea and look easy.
ОтветитьI just saw this thing at the Wrecker games. Very cool build
ОтветитьAwesome! Stuff the rag and rotate the pinion. Or use a box wrench on the ring bolts and rotate the pinion until it locks in and it’ll pop every time.
ОтветитьLove the rock sliders!
ОтветитьMan can't decide ZJ or XJ? Any recommendations daily driver weekend toy? I've had Broncos FJ40s Toyota 4x4 trucks and TJ on 1tons.
ОтветитьWhere did you learn mechanics? I'm an at home diy guy and am really interested in learning more
Ответить@BleepinJeep i kno its a old vid, But Thank you for all the tips and tricks and Information you have given me
!
Yall are lucky. Come to the rust belts and your 5k is an automatic 13k build.
Ответитьreminds me of myself always wrenching alone
ОтветитьOk might sound stupid but why would you want the smaller of the two?
I'm new to jeeping and looking for answers please and ty 😊
That's a deal.
ОтветитьI do enjoy you channel, keep making videos. Huge Bargain. Those kits for the front and rear axles are over $3,000 without the carriers and housings. How about the cost of all the fabrication tools needed.
Ответитьjeep TJ did NOT come with a high pinion
this front axle is not from a tj originally
Sup guy'z.. I have 98 Cherokee with a parasitic draw... Any ideas on how to fix this issue 👍🏻
ОтветитьI had a 94 Jeep ZJ loved that SUV , the Next auto I get will be a RAM 1500 or a New GRAND CHEROKEE 4XE TRAILHAWK would be awesome
ОтветитьJack stands on wood cribbing???
ОтветитьWill the front and rear axles out of a TJ directly swap into a ZJ? I've been told in the past that it's not.
ОтветитьTiene una falla la mía se apaga estando en marcha y no le encuentran, alguna sugerencia?
ОтветитьHello Do you think we can do this to a 2006 Jeep Commander swap. ?
And what would be cost roughly?
i got a 97 orvis with a dana 44 rear end, so any and all TJ axles will fit my ZJ or is it just some years?
ОтветитьTektite tools ? China made tools? Financing our enemy? Wow!!!!!!
ОтветитьEverything I have read says the TJ and ZJ rear axles are not an exact swap. It’s said the shock locations, spring perches and top control are mounts are different.
ОтветитьI like this series but it’s hard to compare. You got a smoking deal on the base unit. A smoking deal on a lot of the parts. Plus you have a lot more fab tools and skills than the every day guy. I guarantee I couldn’t pull of this build for the same price. In NY 2k gets you a completely rotted out Jeep that runs if your lucky
Ответить2 years later and this rig is now valued at $10,000 LOL
ОтветитьI’m also in Kingston, is there a metal shop close by where you got your sheet metal, tubing, etc?
ОтветитьHave you used the winch with any big pulls?
Most guys sleeve the front bumper horns into the frame rail a bit, rather than just butt weld them to the thin stock bumper.
2022 that's no longer a $5k jeep. Also I don't have the tools. Great video nonetheless!
ОтветитьI can't stand the way that year Grand Cherokee looks something about it just looks like it's not finished or something nah I'm talkin about the brand new ones rolling off the lot
ОтветитьI love this type of build! you should look at lemons racing
ОтветитьWhat car are these differentials from?
ОтветитьDe que carro son esos diferenciales?
Ответить@bleepinjeep Did you just weld those horns onto the front metal bumper plate, or did you somehow recess them into the frame rails then weld in? Thanks! I'm looking to basically do the front end the exact same way (with some better metal plate).
ОтветитьBleepin you should go 1ton and sell me your axles you have now. 😂
ОтветитьOn the rocksliders, do you weld the front fender to them as well? Thanks
ОтветитьFor the life of me I never understood why zj’s are more popular than wj’s…….
ОтветитьYou got ripped off big time on them axles!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHey man I live in jacksboro about 30 min from windrock I got a 96 zj I need to build mine lol good videos you put on here
ОтветитьThis fella is a gifted fabricator.
Man, you got vision and mad skills.
