I’m a Resto Druid main but like. I HATE the base moonkin form. It’s such a weird model. You can transform into cats, bears, cheetahs, deer, FUCKING DINOSAURS. But yea a master astrologist bipedal obese chicken is the play here. The Star Form glyph should be how it normally is.

I hope they will give us some customization options like the dracthyr have, so we can customize our form in the barber and we can transmog our shoulders, its insane that new race can do that but class thats there from day 1 cant

Just leveled a balance to 60. Was a terrible experience even with heirlooms. BUT holy shit can it thrown down in dungeons. The solo lvling is terrible though

To be honest, if the star form was baseline, not only would it look better, they'd probably be less hated

I think it's the experience of when the flapping chicken blasts you or all the trash mobs into oblivion with the press of a button. It's very very satisfying, and I am glad I played boomie in S1 this expac lol

Well that's because mages and warlocks have 3 specs of the same role. Many people (as I did when started playing wow) choose hybrid classes thinking 'I prefer DPS but sometimes healing or tanking could be fun too' and they end up NEVER DPSing because healing/tanking spec is usually much more desirable for any raid comp.
You are shaman? Go heal 99% of the time.
You are priest? Well disc is by far your best spec for raiding (except for 9.2 where holy is broken).
You are paladin? Holy is the best way to go!
And for whatever reasons druids have their DPS spec as the most demanded. That's kinda unfair. And yes they look stupid! Fuck moonkins!

its not moonkins, i had a passionate hatred for druids since TBC, just their overall design philosophy is one of the worst things ive ever had to deal with in any game, ever.
As unique as it is that they can switch all nilly willy between forms, it's something that should be done more thoughtfully and not just some bs they can do nonstop

He has point. Nobody cares if its good or bad or such. But if you dont have the glyph that makes you non-chicked then you are dumb. When I play my druid I would lacerate my veins if I had chicken form. I could only imagine myself being in the form of Draenor arakoa which Zanda troll has.

you can get a glyph that makes it so youre not a moonkin and you just stay you char but are transparent/blue with stars falling around you. It's called "Glyph of stars" and every mookin main needs it XD

As a moonkin main we just have to lean into the memes and become one with the feather

That was my first thought about Moonkin the first few months. Horde ones look especially atrocious, troll might be the once decent horde option.

Really doesnt help moonkins that tettles is a spokesperson for the spec either...

So just seeing this, but how about Council of Blood being Boomkins like 30% above the next highest class and the fight literally being designed around their 40-yard AoE that literally didn't care if the adds were grouped or not. That was really my only thing that made me have a distain for Boomkins as a Fire Mage/Hunter/Spriest player at the time.

I used to say the same stuff. And then, one day, it clicked. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

I'm currently leveling a Boomkin and I'm loving it. You either accept being goofy laser chicken or you buy the glyph that makes you translucent instead. I can make the glyph on my warlock, and I make pretty good gold selling them, but I wouldn't deprive myself of the laser chicken goodness.

When I'm playing with my BF my warcry is "BUKAAK!". The rest of my guild doesn't appreciate it, but my boyfriend does (we're both weird).

Ppl hate easy to play classes… everyone also hates hunters and ret pallys lol that being said I would take anyone of those classes over a warrior lol

This is a problem that continues to exist for every hybrid though. As a ww experience the same shit all the time where every time its mildly above mid people lose their minds... not sure why its that way but pures are just expected to be top tier at all times while hybrids only get turns.
