Maybe I missed it in your video but are you aware that if you are using a controller that has analog sticks such as an Xbox or PS3/4 controller though, you can simply press R3 and it will bring up the MAME options menu? Also are there any fixes for a game when it says "core does not support save states"?

The whole romset thing really confused me where so far i have just been copying and pasting stuff into yhe correct folder and it shows up and plays easily. This is why i haven't bothered doing mame yet, i have hundreds of games in final burn neo which was easy to set up. Is there any advantage to mane over fbneo?

Hello I have a 4 player 6 button arcade machine I have built. It also has player 1 to 4 player start buttons and credit buttons for each player. I have also put in a select and exit buttons. I have been trying to setup the buttons and joysticks in retrobat to no avail. The machine will only be used for mame arcade games. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

been using mame since the early 2000s and just learned about the dip switches... blew my freakin mind. i don't know why i never played with the menu's more.

A question is more related to a specific game, is it possible to emulate tatsunoko vs. capcom arcade version in mame? or what type of emulator is it compatible with? I'm not really interested in the wii version

you keep jumping back and forth between retrobat and retroarch, are they working side by side do you suppose to have both running in order to work?

I replaced a mame UMK3 bezel within the bezelproject folder not touching the cfg file but it seems to have messed it up. Should I be able to do it that easily as the png basically seems to just overlay on top of the game itself (can't see the game but it runs)

Hi, Setting up an Ipac Keyboard encoder with out much luck. The retroarch.cfg file shows select as backspace, start as enter, etc. but I can't add coins or start games even by entering them directly from a keyboard. Mainly interested in using this with an arcade control panel. Any ideas how to use Retrobat default keyboard keys to start and play games? Thank You

Anyone know how to program an 8bitdo neogeo controller to work with this the right way? I don't have my neogeo mini to compare which buttons should do what anymore.

After controller configuration is setup in M.A.M.E. I close down retrobat and reopen it to play mame games and the controllers changed player one is player 3 so further. Anyone have a solution?

How or where do you put CHD files for certain MAME games. I tried the GUI but it seems like i cam just a file type converter.

damn, I downloaded MAME 275 and it's not supported!!!!! presumably at some point retrobat will update and it WILL be MAME 275..... fine... but that means, I won't want to update retrobat past that point? otherwise I need to go through the hassle of updating the mame roms... what a nightmare.

What mame romset do you need for retrobat V7.1?
