@williedunnam with all due respect, my point of view differs. why would sin pass to you from your father, and what made that a universal law? that would be like me beating my daughter because she resembled her mother. I understand that my parents have made mistakes, but this is my life, and have yet to be mistakes at birth, so to accept someone elses, sounds unreasonable and unjustified.

Billy Graham a powerful man of God. I love when he says that God will give you the power to overcome the things of this world. As a Christian, Christ has given me peace, a new lease on life, hope and purpose...I LOVE being a child of the king...if you dont know Christ follow Him today!!!!

Then, the first man sinned against God and brought a curse on the whole human race that only could be removed by the life of a perfect human being, which was fulfilled in the Person of Jesus Christ, Who gave His life to redeem humanity. Also, "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), meaning everyone has committed sin are held responsible.

hey billy graham ppl... i'm having a time of doubt and curiosity atm. wondering if anyone can help me out. everyone around me is telling me i can't know that god is real. i assume jesus' followers wouldnt have died such brutal deaths for something they didnt whole-heartedly believe he was christ. and the fact that god persues us is another thing i cling to. anyone got any evidence for me besides praying?

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy Through both of these can you find God. BUT, only through Jesus Christ can you be saved, not nobody on this Earth, but one that was on this Earth, and that was, and is Jesus Christ. So dont listen when somebody says "Repeat after me and you will be saved". turn the other way and walk out! PLEASE DO IT

Jesus and His apostles tell us how to be saved by providing specific commandments for salvation in the New Testament Scriptures. They are presented here with example Scripture references. Once we become Christians by obeying Jesus’ commandments for salvation below, we should practice our faith by doing good works. Though good works alone do not save, we practice them BECAUSE we are Christians. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26 KJV).

--HEAR THE GOSPEL (First Corinthians 15:1-4)

--BELIEVE THE GOSPEL (John 3:16)

--REPENT OF YOUR SINS, FORMER RELIGIOUS WAYS, BELIEFS, AND PRACTICES (Acts 3:19)

--CONFESS BEFORE MANKIND THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD (Matthew 10:32-33)

--BE BAPTIZED FOR REMISSION OF SINS (Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:3-5; Galatians 3:27; First Peter 3:21). Note that we cannot be saved until we have remission of sins through baptism.

--LIVE A CHRISTIAN LIFE BY OBEYING AND SERVING CHRIST (Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 2:10).

Ephesians 2:8-9 states that we are saved by grace through faith, not works. This means that Jesus saves us through His grace as a gift to those who have faith enough in Him to obey His commandments. NOTE THAT JESUS’ COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT PERSONAL WORKS. Given that, denominations abuse Ephesians 2:8-9 in claiming “salvation by faith alone in Jesus.” In other words, just BELIEVE, accept/trust Jesus, invite Him into your heart, say a sinner’s prayer, and you’re supposedly saved. But Jesus says, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15 KJV), just like those above. “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” (John 15:14 KJV). “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? (Luke 6:46 KJV).

THEREFORE, IF YOU TRULY HAVE FAITH IN JESUS AND YOU REALLY WANT TO BE SAVED, THEN DO WHAT JESUS TELLS YOU TO DO. IT’S. JUST. THAT. SIMPLE.
