Thanks for making the video, much love !
Ответитьhe seems so hyped to be the lamest dude in the room.
ОтветитьDude needs to stop calling his music "emo" when it's clearly just pop punk with edgy lyrics. Other than that, he's just mildly annoying
ОтветитьIt's the way he responds to critics is what bothers me about him. I'm not picky about music at all considering this is why I label myself alt and not goth.
ОтветитьThis video made me deeply grateful to be an old that was young before the modern internet.
ОтветитьGrindcore is the most heavy and extreme genre of Metal and Punk
ОтветитьHe has 749.8k on spofity now😂
ОтветитьSuch a horrible band
ОтветитьI have been made fun of for listening to fucking. Green Day 😭 what the actual fuck?😭🔪😂❤️
ОтветитьThis is me at the start of this video This video will determine if I remain subscribed to you or not.
ОтветитьAs a Trans guy, TX2 has been a great advocate for the community (from my own perspective). Yes, the rage bait is real... but it's become a brand staple to embrace the hate and reflect it back.
As for the songs themselves, there's tons of older songs from TX2 that hit home with me. Flowers - TX2 is probably one of my favorites. But it's just my opinion.
Goddamn moo you fine as fuck
ОтветитьYou don't say.... Well I Hate it here.
ОтветитьI love how people are still sitting here crying about bands taking inspiration from bands that came before them when that is what music was.
Blues artists would play blues standards and cover each others songs all the time. Listen to Cream's Sunshine of your Love, that solo, the start of it is directly ripped from the vocal melody of Blue Moon. A song that has been covered time and time again by artist after artist.
Paying homage to bands that came before you is the norm in the industry and the only ones decrying it are people who don't understand music beyond a 3rd grade level of "but that's my toy you can't have it!"
Tbh, they are a little cringe, but in the right way. I am all for this and hope they do well in the future.
Personally as someone who is from alt community, I love his music.
Ответитьwhen he first popped up me and dan frampton made a pact to never acknowledge this kid. it lasted 2 weeks
Ответитьnice channel as an artist and drummer in my 30s im dumbfound by this
Ответитьtbh my main problem with tx2 is that someone needs to teach that man how to do makeup. and maybe give him a new haircut.
ОтветитьI am 100% convinced that the reason he is so unlikable and annoying is this: there is no reason to be ashamed of being emo, bi, short (hehe), or self harming. The problem is when he uses these things as a segway to promote himself or stroke his ego. A great example of this is his vid on being bi.. he says “dont let anyone tell you THIS isnt what bi looks like!” While looking like someone who is SO OBVIOUSLY bi, and then he says “dont let anyone tell you bi people cant play mysic like this!” And then plays a song that comes from a genre where like 80% of the ppl are bi.. he comes up with fake scenarios to almost make people feel pity and then immediately uses those situations to advertise his music. “I was emo in fifth grade and I have tried to end my life 😢 heres me in fifth grade SHREDDING on the drums 😏” i mean bro even used the pride march stuff to promo his music, it always always goes back to it. Every situation is him doing this woe is me thing and transitioning to his music. it just comes off as not genuine and to fit every possible stereotype when people arent really complaining about who he is its the ego and lack of sensitivity around the subjects. Anytime he is criticized on it, he does the “i love when people say this about me when i went through this. Thats why i wrote this song to the haters”
ОтветитьI don't watch shirt form content unless it's new music videos😊 💀
ОтветитьPiplup was my 1st starter
Ответитьu dope af
ОтветитьYou look like a goth version of Erin from Derry girls
ОтветитьThat was Reading Festival not Download for MCR. I did feel sorry for them and still don't understand why those people stayed just to bottle them.... there were plenty of other stages and other things to do. Still had Placebo and Pearl Jam to go after MCR and didn't stay to bottle them...
That was such a weird year as I remember me and my mate talking about how main stage has been pretty empty this year, then after Placebo thousands upon thousands of Pearl Jam fans turn up. They were literally only there for Pearl Jam and no one else mattered lol
Imagine even having/ using tik tok 😂
ОтветитьIn the nicest way possible I think he sucks honestly, and he's creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of hate surrounding his music. But I DON'T HATE HIM. I can totally respect what IS good about what he does, his grind, and can understand why he markets himself the way he does but to me thats the opposite of the attitude a true punk or punk adjacent artist should have. Yes, we all want to eat and have a place to sleep, but selling out to the algorithm is just such a bad look. For most real artists, their art matters more than how many views they're getting. It's not worth it to me as a musician to compromise my integrity to get more eyes on my music. Bc if those eyes are filled with hate, then my art is no longer being received the way I'd like it to.
Selling out the traditional way is understandable. Put that song in an ad, model for hot topic, make some songs they'd play on the radio, promote a vpn, whatever! But making a fool of yourself and your art for views will never be a respectable way to go about things to me.
Ive seen them in concert and honestly theyre really good, and super nice to their fans! They're down to earth, genuine people who love what they do & are super chill. And personally I like their dorky little skits 😅 why do people think they're cringe? Are people really that aversed to silliness nowadays?
ОтветитьTX2 is the best
ОтветитьTX2 is the best
Ответитьare you saying he's an industry plant for coming off TikTok
ОтветитьOne of the choruses to his songs sounds like the chorus of Dying Is Your Latest Fashion by FIR.
ОтветитьGreat video. ✌
Ответитьmy frustration with this guy, as a personal thing, is that i grew up as the EXACT sort of person he is playing a character of. and i’m perfectly aware we are in the era of reclaiming bad experiences and taking back where trauma came from; but it’s super frustrating seeing what i dealt with at school and on social media, even in the later days of emo and myspace, being played as this “i’m quirky and now i’m cool because if you don’t like it that’s on you!” listen, i’m not stupid, i completely get that styles come and go and i was just in the crowd of people who were too early to be popular with all of this, but “im a 5’4 manwhore who slit his wrists” being a lyric that is celebrated is frustrating for OBVIOUS reasons when i am a proud rememberer of the “cut cakes” campaign, those who know…will know.
Ответитьwell, if it wasn't for the cringe "5,4 man wh0re" song being pushed down everyone's throats with cringe advertising skits, maybe he wouldn't be so bad
ОтветитьI used to follow TX2 very closely. I like some of his music. I absolutely love Randy McNally (the song, not the guy). That being said, I don't like how he sexualized nuns in one of his songs (Loaded Guns). This is not only a group that are exclusively women, but specifically a group of women sworn to celibacy. And that isn't too swell to me. I'm not one to get super pressed over edgy lyrics either but that song, no matter how catchy it is, rubbed me the wrong way.
Overall I'm interested in seeing his growth as an artist.
I think the fact that we're in the TikTok age of social media has had a huge influence on how TX2 is viewed and why they're so hated. When someone makes a TikTok with a song for no reason other to gain streams it's incredibly obvious and makes everything about the music & image feel inauthentic. Imagine Kurt Cobain making a video advertising smells like teen spirit where he's yelling with giant bubble text on screen making exaggerated facial expressions and shitty internet meme references. It's not wrong to want to succeed, and social media is a good way to do that, but at a certain point you give up some of your authenticity and dignity making these videos.
ОтветитьTX2 is just the Fred Durst of the 2020s
ОтветитьBruh tx2 is great yall need to chill
ОтветитьI'm going to have to check out this band
ОтветитьDidn’t the vocalist get called out for making sexual comments to kids???
Likes he constantly getting called out for it
Okay, I completely hear you. But I do just think he's really fucking annoying... It's.. he reminds me of this really toxic brand of emo/alt kid I would meet in high school in like 2016 and it really ticks me off. I'm sure he's a nice guy, just can't stand him (or his music tbh) Not to say that anyone deserves mass hate, I think people should just block and scroll tbh
Ответитьno ur dangerous
ОтветитьI’m a huge TX2 fan ❤❤❤
ОтветитьHonestly i appreciate this video i remember when he was first gaining traction i found his stuff very cringe and thought he was like an industry plant. But gotta say this has made my opinion of him a lot softer. (His tiktok stuff still aint my thing tho lmaoo)
ОтветитьThe band is crazy cringy but like so is all emo music. Just because it’s not my cup of tea doesn’t mean it won’t open the door for so many others. Love you TX2 keeping bringing people to the scene
ОтветитьI don't like tx2. I love music but they are a bit to straight forward for me. Sadly there just isn't any substance to their music to me. Definitely catchy though. Also the way he acts in his shorts makes me feel like he is making fun of the style and culture he is trying to represent. Even though I don't think he is. Also Also stop the alt girl sexualization people!!!! I swear I get so annoyed cause I can't ask a girl how the hell she did her nails, or hair, or make up without them thinking I'm a creep. Like nah I don't care if I never see you again your hair is dope and I wanna know how you did it
