Your roads look like some of our worse roads over here where I live in Texas! Poor little monkey, he’s so lucky to be with VMF.

It's so bittersweet to see new arrivals to the Foundation. The babies are absolutely adorable, there's no doubt about that, but seeing how cute they are it's hard to remember that we are seeing them because their lives have been completely uprooted, they've lost their Mother,and their entire Family/Troop.
Chimichurri seems very acclimated to humans, and he knew what the bottle meant, even if he couldn't quite get the hang of it at first. I don't think the people that surrendered him kept him for a pet for a long time, but I don't think the day Dave picked him up was when his mother was hit. I'm happy to see he's settling in at the Foundation and with Ms Bee and that he now has a chance for a proper forever Family!!!❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹♥️ (It's my opinion that he had been with humans for more than a couple of hours, I'm not an expert!!! It's just an observation from watching the last eight seasons, and volunteering at a local rescue. I've been Amazed by some of the stories people who have come in to surrender wild animals have come up with 🤯🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️, BUT at least they were surrendering them for proper care!!!)

This little guy is too used to humans just to have lost his mum !!! They could have just been honest and it would have been better for you guys to have a better understanding of his life thus far. I'm glad that he is here and gets to live a life of a monkey like he deserves

I think chimichiri was kept as a pet for a couple of weeks. The people probably accidentally hit the mom and then tried to keep the baby, not understanding how much attention the baby needed... I didn't hear him crying one time for his troop or mother. And he knew what a bottle was. That's why when Dave said at the beginning " that was a quick handover" because the people didn't want to answer questions and reveal they were harboring him 🤔🤔🤔

Adorable little one. I am so glad that he was turned over to the VMF and now has a chance to get a foster mom and a troop. ❤

That baby was a pet. Way too comfortable with humans, but the bottle was definitely a dead give a way. How mant times have you seen a "wild" baby take right to sucking on a bottle??

Sort of obvious that that is a monkey that has had enough human contact that its establish a bond with humans and accepted them. That was seemingly evident from the handoff and probably why that was so quick. Also as its said this is already day 2 of him being bottle fed the fact that he negotiated a bottle with an artificial teat and stood in a cage to nurse rather than having to be wrapped up, and held to get him to take a teat not really designed for a monkey, and is such a pro at suckling says this baby had been bottle fed through many feedings and usually it in its cage. Hus recognition of the bottle was a real key, but he acts like he is not adjusted to a smaller teat and peobably got used to a himsn bottle and a much larger nipple. Feeding in the cage was probably sheer luck, but should make adjusting to a feeding cage easier rather than transitioning from being held by a carer to the feeding cage

At least they realized that keeping a baby was not a good idea for the monkey and turned it over while it was young enough to have a better chance finding a mother. I do not doubt that the report uou were given was exactly what happened buy several days to a week before, not one day.🎉

((( те макаки которые живут у людей отличаются психологической и физиологической деградацией так как они лишены общения с самкой матерью и лишины активным играм контактам с сородичами себе подобными, проживая у людей они только выполняют команды которым им научили люди а полное развитие у них отсутствует.. люди используют макак в личных интересах и учат обезьян тому что есть комфортным для людей для проживания макак с людьми.. на примере собак .. но макаки не есть собаки не есть слонами и не есть кошками.. они обезьяны со своим интелектом присущим обезьян и со своими родовыми обычаями в стаях.. ((( но многие занимаются бизнесом продажей обезьян зарабатывают на этоой торговли животными деньги что есть незаконным и несправедливым по отношению к макакам и другим видам обезьян.....
