As a final movie they need to have oogway as the final LILE bad guy, with the correct execution that can play out so well, oogway lead po to this path as they setup oogway can see the future, he sense po can posses a great power than him, so everything that has happened to po was a lie, they can do a two parter, I see this as as a great storyline because they setup po as the chosen player ne which oogway was the original chosen one

Master Oogway’s negligence, gatekeeping, and overall lack of communication with the people who eventually become villains, is, in my opinion, the reason why he is the thing that all of this death, misfortune, and suffering can all be traced back to.
One of his biggest flaws is how entitled of a teacher he is.
He views every person he meets and teaches as completely and irreversibly evil once they reach a certain point, which is NOT true. And HE should be the first person that knows that.
All of the people he has taught have the ability to change, and become better. Yet, he’s usually the reason why they end up committing evil or seeking revenge.
It’s because he believes that he has the authority and dominion over other peoples minds once he senses something about them, which isn’t even true 100% of the time because he didn’t sense that someone was going to MURDER innocent people using their power.
If he can sense evil, he should have also seen the good in all of the people he’s taught. Tai Lung was an amazing, powerful, and passionate fighter. And he saw his worst traits, and that is what made him say no, even though he knew how much he has trained his whole life, and it isn’t a moment of empathy or guilt, it’s narcissism and disappointment. Not once did he comfort him, OR Shifu.
And Tai Lung revolted, and committed atrocities, and was imprisoned. And not once did I see Oogway apologize or show any guilt towards him.
I genuinely believe the reason why Shifu didn’t do the correct thing of comforting his son after what happened is because of generational trauma. He was taught by his master to accept the limits imposed on him by people he believes are superior, which is a terrible thing to believe.
This caused Shifu to gate keep other people he trains.. pointing out their flaws more than their actual strengths, which in turn followed over to them.
He didn’t show any resemblance of understanding or guilt towards these things, and yet he’s seen as a good person who does nothing but good things.
Maybe that’s why he says, “there are no accidents.” It’s because he wants to create the idea that everything he does is perfect and can only lead to good things so there is no reason for him to be questioned or have any of the things he does be considered cruel, or wicked, when he’s supposed to look over people, and sense their everything.
Almost every conflict with each antagonist in all of Kung Fu Panda could’ve have been resolved through communication and not gatekeeping and not revealing thing’s.
