I prefer Teng GeEr's classics like Father's Prairie, Mother's River. Just came from Huo Zun and at first I compared them thinking they both brought the traditional aspects of their countries' culture to their music, but realized in recent years Teng GeEr has been doing the opposite; adding rock, pop, or upbeat styles to his songs and even revamping the classics. Whereas Huo Zun is genuinely trying for the traditional approach. All-in-all they're both amazing artists, but I prefer all his older style songs, or the ones he adds to dramas (which have another type of style).
