RTX 2060 Super is great if you need to upgrade your GPU in your gaming PC. I would not buy a mining rig full of RTX 2060's due. I still using my old RX 570/580 and GTX 1070's in my old mining rigs due. I recently bought a RX 5700 XT quite cheap for my HTPC and I can mine on it when not using it. 53MH/s at Ethash at 105-110 W seems okey.

Hi, I am a gamer, and the RTX stuff is overrated. The games which use it today use it as little as possible to avoid major FPS drops, and even then you can expect your FPS to tank by 30-85% depending on the game. By the time RTX is more mainstream AND developers go with more Raytraced scenes, the current 20 series will be unable to run those games at ANY acceptable frame rates or resolution. So what do you do? You buy a new gpu. The tensor cores are what could be something for mining. Also could allow nvidia to compete with ASICs, although TPUs are better and may still over take in sheer performance. Best way to get ASIC resistance would be to have the hardware do both GPU and AI workloads at once, so that a video card can only mine. Only problem is AMD and Intel are boxed out, but they could adopt tensor cores aswell

Unfortunately, declaring a "best GPU" for mining right now is like choosing the best air conditioner while in hell. Even the very best isn't all that effective ATM

At this moment in time about the only thing GPU mininng is good for is gaining access to crypto without the use of exchanges or being able to harvest altcoins that are currently not listed on exchanges.

Gamers can mine coin, and exchange it for Theta or other gaming based tokens. Mining makes sense
