finally you get to showcase Sanda. Sanda guy was technically much better and smarter than the Muah Thai guy. Even though he was gassed out early, he was able to pick and chose when he engaged and controlled distance very well. Stayed clear of mid range where the MT guy wouldve been strongest. Neutralised MT guy in close up with knees and throws and controlled the long range with his fast side kicks. ..and was able to bridge long and close up by intercepting MT guy as he opened up with punch. Very smart fighter.
ОтветитьThe difference here is experience in fighting vs the other style. The Sanda guy is well-prepared, whereas the Thai got booked for this one hybrid rules fight and is trying to figure it out as he goes along. Check out Pajonsuk/Pajunsuk - this was a Thai who spent some time preparing for this style and won gold (2002) and silver (2006) in Wushu at the Asian Games. This suggest that it is not MT that has 'holes in its game'.
ОтветитьThose throws are amazing!
Ответитьlol that cheap shot at the start though. why even bother to walk up and touch gloves?
ОтветитьI feel like these two styles are very similar but have their own unique appeals. When it comes to that, it becomes dependent on the individual rather than the style itself.
ОтветитьThe muay thai fighter wasn't very good
Ответитьthis was a great balanced match with much technique and skill shown from both fighters but obviously the Sanda fighter landed more blows and more techniques including sweeps and takedowns. HOWEVER, the true purpose of fighting even in a martial artistic way..is to get a mf off ya ass! The Sanda fighter was excellent and was really impressive but when you analyze it, after 8 min in and after all the side kick-jabs to the head, the scoops, sweeps and other blows landed, the Muay Thai fighter STILL got right back up and didn't look damaged at all...now lets just say n a regular boxing match with a fighter as skilled as the Sanda in ONLY boxing, mannnn dude shoulda had a few black eyes, been knocked down and knocked out by 8 min
ОтветитьYou can’t beat Muay Thai if you don’t let them use elbows. The CCP has been trying for years but they will never beat Buakaw.
ОтветитьLow kick? Middle kick? ... Uppercuts? MT guy come on...
ОтветитьTitle should read 1 fighter beats another..
Saying sanda beats muay thai is to suggest it always does, which simply wouldn't be true.
The best stand up imo is a combination of both.
ОтветитьHow To Defeat Muay Thai THE MUAY THAI RULES!!! NO PADS!!!
Ответитьsuper interesting. thanks.
ОтветитьThe best example of Sanda in MMA are new wave caucass guys. Like Zabit, Umar & Usman Nurmagomedov. I'd love to see you break down their kicks.
ОтветитьI can now see where Usman Nurmagomedov Bellator's LW Champ and his brother took this "japping with feet" technique from
Ответитьok, but what are takedowns worth if the floor doesn't hurt (suspended plywood), and you are not allowed to follow-up?
ОтветитьThis guy shouldve fought Buakaw...not that other loser 😂😂
ОтветитьNon thai men are knocking out Thai men in the present 😃😃😃😃😃
ОтветитьMT guy coming out very un-Thai with the fake glove touch
ОтветитьIts literally seem Muay thai vs Muaythai + other tactics.
ОтветитьThe muay thai fighter doesn't look like a great kicker/clincher
ОтветитьHow to beat Mauy Thai the Sanda way :
Challenge the crappies Muay Thai Fighters with your best Sanda fighters.
●●●●●● OR ●●●●●●
BRIBE the fighter of otherwise fix the fight.
★ !¡! Chinese Bull Shido 4TW !¡! ★
Did everyone miss the groin shot at the start? No wonder red shorts had such an advantage, the first thing he did was kick blue in the nuts
ОтветитьSanda is no joke. Basically pressure tested Chinese martial arts…
ОтветитьIt’s obvious that the Thai Boxer is limited by the rules. No elbows and no flying knees. The Thai boxer is frustrated because he cannot use his full arsenal. This is why kickboxers beat Thai boxers in the early days.
ОтветитьSanda rules is only for Sanda fighters. Run around the ring (boring!) and win the fight.
ОтветитьThank you! More sanda please, Jerry!!
ОтветитьThat was not a sidekick at the beginning that stopped the fighter… he got a solid knee strike to the balls! It’s a wonder he could continue!
ОтветитьThai men hate that they lose to Sanda 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
ОтветитьWhy Thai men are not commenting here? 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Ответить广东体育台😂
ОтветитьIf a Wing Chun fighter adds Sanda to his arsenal, it becomes JKD in my opinion.
ОтветитьPeople have been sleeping on Sanda for too long…
ОтветитьRemove those elbow pads and you'll know how weak that bootleg copy cat Muay Thai style called is
ОтветитьI do Muay Thai but i would love to train Sanda!!! This style is so baddass and I love that they use diverse kicks and have takedowns. In my opinion this makes it much better than muay thai
ОтветитьOnly recently heard about Sanda through sensei seth's video. It's actually really awesome seeing it in practice. I would've liked to see more elbows but, it was a good display from both fighters, the sidekick is super interesting being a mix between a hook kick & traditional sidekick.
Also I don't know how you mistook Sanda to be Japanese lol.
Way cool video my dude. Love the commentary.
ОтветитьSandra fighter had lateral movement that's why I won
ОтветитьYou know, one of the things I liked about Buakaw was his ability to throw fast left round kicks. I believe left rounds to the inner lead leg of the sanda guy might've made some difference
ОтветитьI would've loved to see Prime Buakaw vs Prime Cung Le (representing Sanda). Under these rules, whatever those were.
ОтветитьAnyone know of any sanda gyms in china? Currently in Thailand training mt for a couple months. But I've always been interested in sanda, and yaw yan
ОтветитьSanda muay thai is originally Indian martial arts Bodhidharma Tamil.
ОтветитьStop calling them Judo throws, FFS. Entries are part of the technique and they are totally different in Sanda.
ОтветитьWhat was the rule set on their match?
ОтветитьThose who are Sanda practicioners: you guys could answer me one thing? In a fight that drags like this one, what consumes more of your energy, being thrown in the ground or being the one trying to knock down the oponent? Is the tradeoff worth it? - I think Sanda is very interesting and I feel that in self defenses cases it is a very complete martial art to have in your arsenal, but in a ring how does it work? Thank you beforehand 🙏
ОтветитьEverything is from Bodhidharma Tamil Kanchipuram Pallava Dynasty.
ОтветитьDragon kicks
ОтветитьI fought San da and won. Used many kung fu sweeps, takedown and throws. Self taught. Couldn’t hurt you with a single strike though. 😂
ОтветитьThanks to viewer Andrew, we have figured out that the Muay Thai guy is Rungchai Makate. So Rungchai Makate vs Li Hai Ming.
