1KiB (kibibytes) = 1024 bytes (2^10)
Due to confusion computer architects have now defined a new term "kibibyte" to represent powers of 2, whereas the "kilobyte" represents powers of 10.

Have you noticed that old weights for scaled were binary?
1oz. 2oz, 4oz, 8oz, 16oz (1lb) etc.?

In binary system, 1+1=10, then why 1+1+1 should not be 15 rather than 11?
