I have an 88 Mclaren, I will never get rid of it.....Love them classic fox body.
Ответитьawe yeee thats why im keeping mine!!! have a 93 Notch...i get a lot of thumbs ups..
ОтветитьI found a completely stock 1990 5.0 notchback automatic for $6000. Runs drives and just needs tlc. Body and interior are in good shape. Car seems to be completely unmolested. This just seems kinda expensive for a stock auto fox body mustang though. Any thoughts?
Ответитьhow true those words are. in the day they were everywhere, now it's like seeing a unicorn. it's thrilling and sad at the same time when you see one rolling
ОтветитьVery nice notch. Gonna work my hardest these next few years to make sure I get me one by the time I turn 18.
ОтветитьDamn, that's a clean coupe.
ОтветитьEdgar Landeros me too but i want mine at 16
ОтветитьThose were simply bad azz muscles cars back in the day. I wanted one so bad!
Ответитьanother clean coupe. love to see that they're still around.
Ответитьlove that model gotta get one
ОтветитьIt's not that rare where I come from, when I was in high school, it seemed like you couldn't go more than a mile without seeing one, it kinda ruined it for me, considering the people who drove them where assholes
ОтветитьNice car. But damn, get those white wax residue marks out of the quarter window moldings!!!!! Sorry, I'm picky
ОтветитьPretty rare but there are a few other foxbodies here and there. I got lucky and got my 90 5.0 in decent condition for 2000.
ОтветитьI have one also nice car buddy $
ОтветитьSick
ОтветитьDo you dare love the square? I do as Foxes have aged beautifully.
ОтветитьI'm just happy that this was in va (hopefully) I'm in Richmond
Ответитьcool car but the riding of this guys nuts was way too stalkerish....
ОтветитьI really dont mean to sound like a dumbshit.....but why are they called "foxbody" or "g-body"?????PLEASE dont be too awful..
Ответитьthey made them to compete against the audi fox. therefor fox body
ОтветитьI miss my notchback 5.0 I had a lot of good times with it.
ОтветитьWhy do they call it a notchback? Are they all notchbacks, if not what makes them one. Thanks
Ответитьnow they seem to be all on the strip...
ОтветитьAre certain foxbody's different in length? For example take a 1989 mustang lx vs a 1991 mustang lx, would there be any length difference?
ОтветитьIt is badass and awesome.
Ответитьwhat exhaust? sounds like an x pipe with maybe so flowmasters?
Ответитьonly hit 85mph
Ответитьperfection
ОтветитьI wrecked mine in 1988. Wouldn't mind finding another 5.0 notchback LX that hasn't been abused or modded too much. Better brakes would be nice tho. Really enjoyed those Mustangs...lots of giddy-up.
ОтветитьI just started building a foxbody. check it out.
ОтветитьI have an 89 notch coupe ex Georgia State Patrol I'll probably have it til the day I drop
Ответитьnotchback in my opnion is more rare to find these days only saw one in my town in 2014 after that new saw one again a woman drove it, its nice to see women enjoying a nice old mustang it was black and it was 100 % original.
ОтветитьI get my inspiration to work on my notchback from watching video like this:D
ОтветитьI had a 90 5.0 LX coupe, purchased new, and it was seriously fun and nearly indestructible. Yeah the build quality was more Ford Pinto in some areas but the performance embarrassed lots of much more expensive cars including those from Germany. The stock V8, and drivetrain, was seriously under-stressed despite the 300 lb-ft of torque. A 1990 3 series BMW was easily embarrassed on the road or track. BMW Ultimate Driving Machine? Not so much. The Mustang outperformed it's German rivals even at double the price. I also attended the Bondurant 4 day driving school using this generation Mustang as their primary training car. My Bondurant Mustang with 30K of track miles was not only flawless but the mechanics said short of brakes and tires they had near zero problems with their fleet despite all the abuse in 100+ degree Arizona desert temperatures. Show me another 1990 car for around $14K that can deliver similar performance?
ОтветитьSuch a nice car
ОтветитьNotchbacks look so badass
ОтветитьI just got a notch with a fucking roll cage in it. Dude said it was hitting low 10s in the 90s whatever the fuck that ment lol!! No I know it’s freakin fast to bad he blew the motor and now has a stock 5.0 with 50k miles.
ОтветитьI always like the lx hatch 5.0 . Didn’t really care for the gt trim
ОтветитьI had a 1990 5.0 just like this, navy blue. It was great....until my boys turned 16.
ОтветитьMy dream car but in all black
Ответитьjust bought a 90 5.0 notch that’s kinda beat, looking forward to getting it back to its former glory soon. I think I wanna paint mine gray too
ОтветитьI wrecked my 21000 mile 1989 lx hatch in 1992 after 3 months of ownership...….fell asleep coming home from work. I wrecked my 1987 gt after only 5 months in 1994. I bought a Twilight blue 1991 notch 5.0 5 speed with e-cam, and 351 heads, long tubes 3" x-pipe and 2 chamber flows to 2 1/2 LX tailpipes. Eibach suspension, tubular K-member, KYB AGX shocks struts, 13" cobra brakes and 5 lug conversion, riding on 19" KMC District 685's 16 months ago March 12, 2017 and now have put 18000 trouble free miles on her.....NOT FOR SALE EVER. 450 horse 347, tko 600 and 3.55's going in in August. planning on dailying it for 2 more years. People pull up and say shit like this all day every day. I have had old guys giving me thumbs up on cross walks, Entire wedding parties egging me into burnouts as I drive past the churcheveryone loves the bark of the fox-body, add some compression and a cam and BOOM. How many or these replies begin with...I wrecked my...??? LOLOL
Ответитьnice to see another notchback on the road, only so few left.
ОтветитьFox body notchback 5.0 stick is my favorite car of all time. Such a clean, sleeper design, and nothing sounds better than a lumpy cammed 5.0 with flowmasters.
Ответитьlooks good in traffic
Ответить7 year old video still getting love, the Fox has aged very well
ОтветитьWow, that brings back memories. Bought a new 5.0 5-speed Silver LX Notchback in November of 1987. Sold it to buy a house . . . and missed it a lot.
ОтветитьNow this vid is old but i was offered a 92 mustang lx coupe rust free, straight matching numbers, un molested, mint interior, almost mint oxford white paint for 3000 dollars. Its my grandmothers car and she said it hurts to see it set and rot. Its a 2 owner car which my great aunt bought off the showroom floor in 1992 and died shortly after. The car is in the rust belt but was kept up and never seen salt or rain in its rather short life due to the feul pump. My question is are the notchback mustangs a good project for a minor restoration or naw? It has 88,000 miles
