Dune: Awakening Update for November 2024

Definitly exciting stuff, the wurm riding toke me by suprise though, hope they nail the feel of it.

Can’t wait to watch Dune Prophecy and play Dune Awakening

It IS a great game. Feels like Conan in the Dune universe. You cant go wrong

Wait, if a vehicle is bound to you how does it get stolen? and if it can get stolen whats the point of it being bound? Is this only in PVP areas or something?

These base building mechanics were so half-assed… It took me a long time to figure out how to use it, better to improve.

Not a Conan fan but it was nice to hear about sandstorms. Star wars had Luke in a Snow storm on Hoth and the Dune Books spoke of the harshness of the Sandstorms. These new dune movies offer nothing like the books of the 60's and 70's

If there's one throughline in all the Joel Bylos Funcom games, in both the Conan and Secret World universes, it's risk through gameplay innovation. Age of Conan had the three direction parry/counter system and discrete day and night cycles, TSW had a true classless progression system and incredible dialog, and Conan Exiles had the best traversal system in open world games, IMO. I can't wait for this game. we are eating like kings right now in gaming.
