MONSTER TRAIN: Beginner's Guide Walkthrough - New Roguelite Deckbuilding Card Game

Long video, first 15 or so mins will give you the lowdown on the game, the rest is a walkthrough of a full run for those that want to understand how it all plays out. Haven't been able to get enough of this game - over 50 hours now before the game has even launched. I'm really looking forward to competing in multiplayer when more people get their hands on it. Cheers for the devs sending me a review copy, it's been really good in my break from the PoE league.

BTW, you were shooting yourself in the foot towards the end! You kept putting imps on front of your Hero, so the front enemy was taking like, 30-40 points of damage less than if you had snuck it in behind, since it wasn't taking Thorns any more! That's probably why so many were getting through on Seraph.

Damn, Ziggy's taste in games is so similar to mine. Every game you've recommended so far has gotten me hooked. Already have about 700 hours gameplay on Nova Drift and this game's looking fun too.

this is my first roguelike deckbuilding game (dabbled with hearthstone a little bit before but that was pretty much pre-made decks). So far this game is really fun, and this video helped to give me some tips and help.

Infused Mallet seems to be quite helpful in the early rounds. Despite the 25% chance of triggering, it might save you resources and get around stuff like Spell Shields.

You are using the wrong term when referring to this game's genre. Monster Train is a rogue-lite, not a roguelike. Look it up before arguing with me, and do you research correctly. Just because most people call an entire genre of games by the wrong name does not change the facts. Can you imagine the backlash that would occur if someone called a farming simulation a first person shooter?
