looks like your umbrella very naturally fit onto that mic stand with a little tilt as well (which is good). Would every umbrella fit onto any mic stand like that? I mean we wont be having compatibility issues?

What a lot of effort. No need for all that work with spray and foil. You can buy a white umbrella (look up umbrellas for weddings), which will save all that work and is cheaper than buying a "photo umbrella" from a camera store, which is basically a wedding umbrella at five times the price.
