ОтветитьI loved the way you have showed how to prepare sambhar, but I believe in Udupi Sambhar you add little jaggery for the taste

ОтветитьI used beans, baby corn and carrots - in place of the vegetables that you mentioned. Also, I added a tbsp of rice as part of the roasted masala and instead of fresh grated coconut I used desicated coconut powder. Following the rest of your recipe, it certainly turned out awesome ! Your proportions are absolutely to the 'T'.

ОтветитьAuthentic and simple. I'm not sure whether they use shallots and cummin seeds in udupi sambhar. Never the less tastes wonderful. Thanks for the recipe.

Ответитьab202012- You are right this is not temple kind. They do not use shallots. Besides , Badage mirch is a must. For masala urud dal added and not chana. Another thing is , no tempering given for this kind of sambar/masala Huli. For Bolu Huli yes. This has to be a modified restaurant style.
