Teague not lying. That single season they matched up with GS well, especially defensively. What derailed them that season was Thabo getting his leg broken by the NYPD. He was their Lebron stopper. Then DeMarre Carroll got his knee busted up in the 2nd round. Hawks were down bad vs Lebron in the ECF. No wing defenders with size. I think they even had Korver on him at times. Crazy

14-15 Hawks season was derailed when Sefolosha got his leg broken by the NYPD after a road game in NY, Demarre Carrol had no back up after he went down. The Hawks that year had the potential to win it all, but that teams weakness was they needed every rotation player, one key guy goes down and its not gonna be enough, and unfortunately thats exactly what happened.
