I think you’re full of poop
ОтветитьSome people want to give the federal government power to rule our lives. Why call it the United States, if 537 leaders in our government want to take that all away? California has particular problems that relate to California, Ohio has particular problems that relate to Ohio, let each state legislature solve those problems.
ОтветитьI dont vote for boomers regardless of party. That elitest generation embedded in DC has caused more problems than any other. They are leading the country into geriatric senility. And they wont quit. Without term limits, its all pointless.
ОтветитьThis is not how the election was to be run, the election was supposed to be “ONE DAY” in person and counted that day… not by mail over a month and for days or even a week afterwards.
ОтветитьIt's crazy to me how someone making a video can know so much and yet understand so little.
ОтветитьPrimary elections aren't really elections, it's just the parties' picking who they want to run in the election
ОтветитьVoting should require a valid Id.
ОтветитьYou are guessing on what they were thinking when and why they passed anything at a given time, look at amendment rights, that's why they made provisions for amendments,GOD BLESS AMERICA
ОтветитьWhat is interesting about after the 2000 election, Florida had to spend lots of money to get new voting machines, but in 2004 Illinois was still using the same card punch. It seems like the monitors only monitor certain states, but not others.
ОтветитьThe constitution is written simply. Buy the people.
The interpretation is screwed by stupid lawyers.
Ok, you completely mischaracterized the relationship between the states and the federal government in that the state governments are not branch managers under the federal government. This clearly stated in the 10th Amendment. Which powers did the states delegate down to the federal government? You can find those in Article I; Section 8, or the enumerated powers. Also, the amendment process is far from the federal government forcing the states to do anything as 3/4 of the states must ratify it before it becomes law. If the states hold an Article V convention, and they get 3/4 to ratify they can completely bypass congress. Nothing vague about it. Vagueness and ambiguity are usually cited by people seeking to circumvent the constitution. People who wish it said something else.
ОтветитьI acknowledge that the Constitution is not ' Exact ', but the ' United States Code ' IS, and it has made it clear that you must be a ' Natural Born ' Citizen ' to vote, so I'll sau it again that when we get rid of ' English Literature ' and make learning the Constitution, US Code, State Constitution and Code, we will not keep having this problem.
ОтветитьOnly citizens who are taxpayers should be allowed to vote. Absentee votes should be rare and only to members of the Armed Forces, Out of area students who pay taxes, invalids and people working away from their district for longer periods of time than early voting allows.
ОтветитьProof of U.S. citizenship should ne mandatory for any election 👍🇺🇸
ОтветитьWe don't have a National Government we have a Federal Government. This video is misleading.
ОтветитьArticle IV, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution, the Comity Clause, verifies that states do not have Rights.
Since We, The People are the sovereign, The State cannot rightfully possess sovereign immunity, that which was supposedly granted through the Eleventh Amendment.
Right off you start with lay!
ОтветитьI think there's one fundamental flaw in this video, which is that it implies that power flows down from the federal government to the states (states are "given" abilities and responsibilities), when it's actually the opposite. Delegates from the States created the Constitution, so the States were investing the Federal Government with power. All non-specified powers are also reserved to the states, so the Federal Government only has the powers granted to it by the states. In the US Constitution, power flows upward, not downward, from the people, to the 50 sovereign states, to the Federal Government with which those states share, but do not abdicate, their sovereignty.
ОтветитьYou couldn't be more wrong!!! It's not vaguely written, it's supposedly written and you just don't understand the circumstances they were in! For one, your right, this was a novel conception. However, they were completely aware of their goal, just not every new way the corrupt politicians would try and abuse their goal! State sovereignty was and still is important! The power of the Federal government was to make sure no states sovereignty infringed on another states sovereignty!
ОтветитьWe are hosed!
ОтветитьRaise the voting age to 25, unless you've had a job for 1 year or more. Pay taxes, and own property.
Ответить!. Yes monitor states more closely, 2. All states should require photo ID, 3. Requiring ID does no disenfranchise anyone.
ОтветитьMail in voting is going to be the downfall of the United States because it’s too easy to cheat
ОтветитьWe should require an identification card that you can only get if you are a natural born or naturalized citizen. In California illegal immigrants can get drivers licenses so that can’t be used to prove citizenship. And the government should get e these ID cards for free, not charge a fee, because voting should be free.
ОтветитьWe need to take advantage of emerging technologies like "Blockchains" to ensure election integrity + do away with the Electoral College.
ОтветитьNo matter what is done by the states and/or the federal government, it will make things worse or just more confusing.
Ответить🗽 PARENTS SHOULD HAVE MULTIPLE VOTES ON BEHALF OF EACH ELIGIBLE CHILD
ОтветитьGov issued photo ID to vote is a must !
ОтветитьThe Constitution doesn’t need to provide procedures for every detail. It gives us the policies to guide those procedures.
And one of the most basic Constitutional fundamental principles is a limited and restricted federal government
That means any talk of a national, one size fits all approach is off the table.
There are too many ways to cheat legally.
ОтветитьHello from Belgium,
It seems so obvious that preventing my ID card is required to go voting that I can't even imagine how you could manage elections otherwise.
Yes ID to vote, serialized ballots too, citizens only, no one with an IQ below 100
ОтветитьPre-14th Ammendment; go and vote for your corporate leaders all you citizen franchises. See what priviledge that gives you by and through your own consent.
ОтветитьOnly citizens are allowed to vote , nowadays the only way to know is verification by ID . Vortex ID is a must .
ОтветитьJust because something is 50 or 100 years old doesn’t mean it needs changing.
ОтветитьI think that I.D. should be a requirement.
ОтветитьGet rid of MAIL -BALLOTS
ОтветитьUS citizens whatever your color should vote
ОтветитьLOL,WHEN YA LET EVERYBODY DO AS THEY WANT,THEY DO JUST THAT,WHEN THER IS NO STANDARD FOR ALL STATES YOU WHAT WE HAVE!!!!!!!LOOK AT HISTORY AND GUESS WHATMITS REPEATING ITSELF TO BENIFIT THE POLITICAL,PARTY WHO RUNS IT ,NOTHING DOR THE PERSONS WHO ARE A NON PARTY MEMBER,MORE LIKE A GANG RAN VORING SYSTEM JUST DIFFERENT NAMES NOW,DEMORATS LEARNED THIS!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьALL COUNTRIES HAVE ONE RULE IN COMMON,NO ONE BUT THE CITIZIENS CAN VOTE,OWN PROPERTY,AND HAVE ANY SAYSO IN THE COUNTRIES WELFARE AND LAWS!!!!!!
ОтветитьA NATIONAL AGE FOR ALL VOTING SHOULD BE A STANDARD,KIDS HAVE NOT MARURED ENOUGH TOMVOTE,THEY HAVE NO REAL IDEA WHAT THE WORLD OR EVEN THEIR LIFES ARE REALLY ABOUT,HELL,MOST ADULTS DONT!!!!😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьEvery state should be electoral. They never fathomed that we wild have such a massive population. So many states are completely disenfranchised by one or two small counties. And the us electoral system is at its limit. No state should have the power of states like CA. Eventually one or two states could have the power to decide the election. Why would all of the other states want to stay in the union, if they were completely controlled by a few other states on the other side of the country?
ОтветитьAmendment: one adult citizen, one vote. Voter fraud, minimum of 25 years in federal prison. No early parole. ID required. Paper ballot, no mail. Problem fixed, you’re welcome…
ОтветитьThe constitution should be up dated to reflect the times of days that we are living today voting should be one person one vote every man woman and child are equal equal protection under law all sentences should be the same for rich and poor everyone born here should be able to vote as of 18 and your not removed until you die sense that stole this land from the indigenous peoples anyway voting should be used by your SS # and so forth
ОтветитьNobody should be drafted to go to another land to fight only defend on our on soil because we don’t start those wars let the Rich go fight those wars don’t help the poor financially only rich stop taking over countries and let everyone live and let live
ОтветитьSo now we have king Trump? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe US Constitution establishes the foundational framework for elections, emphasizing a balance of power between state and federal governments. Article I, Section 4 gives states control over the timing, place, and manner of congressional elections, while Congress has the authority to set national guidelines. The 12th Amendment outlines the Electoral College process for presidential elections, and various amendments like the 15th, 19th, 24th, and 26th have expanded voting rights over time, prohibiting discrimination based on race or gender and lowering the voting age. Although the Constitution provides essential principles for fair and democratic elections, it leaves room for legislative action and state regulation, leading to further laws and reforms to address contemporary voting challenges. This balance is key to adapting the electoral system to modern needs while protecting the right to vote and ensuring election integrity.
ОтветитьThe most appalling thing about this video is the comment section.
You wackos need to WATCH the VIDEO & stop the harebrained ideas that "only listed powers, everything else goes to the states."
See: 13th Amendment, Equal Protection Clause, etc. No wonder we're doomed.
Is it time the national government set more national standards in elections or should the states continue to have the right to do elections their own way? Vote on my community poll!
