IN tinkers on SB3, the basic melter first then when you have copper and cast your controller, I have found that casting your wood parts covered in slime then casting them in brass, 1- is fairly cheap, 2- is fairly good, 3-fairly durable, then the modifiers can be added as time goes on( tip: you can put water and lava in your tinkers smeltery to make obsidian to cast obsidian plates to prep for most modifiers) this is the intended progression but awesome to go through. You always can make better parts from other materials later like cobalt, osmium and even necrotic bone, rivals even the netherite paxel in some aspects. I love Tinker's construct and think that adding this to SB3 was a MUST for modded players. enjoy and experiment! ( to find more information on what different materials do and for the main Tinker's encyclopedia with all indexes-SB3- cast a book with gold on a tinker's tool forge to see all information and contains all information from all the previous books ~this is a SB3 recipe :) .) also crushing roughly one standard chest of crushed netherrack would yield enough cobalt to make an entire set of plate gear (minus the chains). Tinker's is fun! not every tinker tool is for everyone, make them your own!!!! EDIT- i watched the rest of the video and I see this is what you did lol awesome!!!!! <3 (((this is a great alternative to chickens)))

by the way, a lot of people don't know this, but you can save a lot of resources with tinkers. you don't actually need grout once you get the melter. you can do clay straight to seared bricks. just melt the clay in the melter, then pour it over stone buttons on a casting table. like first put a button on the table then pour molten clay onto it and you get a brick. its also a 2 to 1 ratio. 1 clay = 2 seared bricks, and it cuts out the sand and gravel middleware.

fun fact: while ye sthe cobalt tinkers armor has more base armor its somewhat worse than the wanderers armor as it has less slots that can be used for utility like double jump haste and so on

and lets be honest in most modpacks you already have such high dmg output that utility becomes much more useful than def

1.19 mods are gonna be awesome.

Tinkers post 1.12 confused me so much in my own playthrough

So im also playing stoneblock 3 and want to get into refined storage but the crafting recipes for the processing units are different? they are not crafted with powah but with deployers from create, has the pack changed since chosen's video on them?

You need to stop wasting coal use a fan with lava to blow on raw iron to cook it

With the initial tinkers making a controller, the melter only allows 3 items to be smelted and you need 4 copper ingots worth. Rather than melt ingots, its better to melt 3 Ores, as each ore gives 1inogt and 3 nuggets. 3 nugs x 3 ores = the extra ingot you need to make the controller.

Hey Chosen! It looks like the Name of each Tinkers ability/perk is in a specifically colored font. Also, when you look at the actual stats on a tool, the modification numbers are in a specific colored font. The colors seem to link each ability added (to the tool) to the modifications that ability gives.

Use the chickens ,maybe farm loot chests(from ftb),and please use the hammers from the specialized mod

So for the conditional damage and mining speed from the emerald modifier it means modifiers that have a condition such as smite and illuminated (the mining modifier that increases mining speed based on light level) will be more affective

I don't know if anyone else has this issue but when I open my chat in singleplayer and try to use a command it just crashes my game

Hey Chosen I have found a bug in the modpack right now and figured telling you would be the best and fastest way for it to get fixed. The bug is that when you create a new world for some reason you are permanently invisible and all items that drop are invisible. This bug makes it very difficult to play the pack.
