i find ebay is alot cheaper than cardkingdom by a significant margin as long as im willing to wait longer for cards, which I am. I bought a deck that i build that woulda been 200 dollars on card kingdom for 120 on ebay. Just took a little more work to look for the right cards

Zaxara is my favorite commander

I feel Jimmy's pain I've been there before when I discarded a land 🙈 plus you gotta love Jimmy! This was such a cool episode, the fans were a vibe and it was a lovely show to watch 🥰

I hate to sound like that guy but unbound flourishings text says if a instant or sorcery spells mana value contains X in the mana value you copy the spell and choose a new target

This was a really epic game. As a 2 month player, it was a good one to watch and learn.

Jimmy discarding the land and then not having a land the next turn and needing it is exactly why I've lost all sympathy for this happening to him. He's not just unlucky. He regularly makes risky plays with his lands because he values the upside too highly and then everything falls apart if it doesn't pan out. We don't see how often it does work out, but we definitely see it failing often enough that he would just strictly benefit by being a bit more conservative with his lands.

To be fair, when Allie cast that X draw spell earlier she said, 'so that will double,' which understandably confused Josh

mmh, wouldn't the day's undoing end the turn part make the psychic possession 7-card draw trigger fizzle since you've got to resolve the card before triggers? edit: nevermind, it wasn't josh's turn 😅

Holy Cow, This was a great episode as a hydra player excited to see them win. Congrats to Allie Gier and Saul Padilla definitely had the right energy for GNL.

Really crazy game, it's cool that everyone's deck had a chance to pop off this episode.

Man I love these episodes. I really wish you guys would do more than one fan episode a year tbh

One of my favorite parts of this whole episode is hearing Saul keep talking about the cool combo pieces in his deck he has never gotten to play test in pods or anything like it with Gimbol, and being so happy to finally play them. I honestly feel that with my decks sometimes where it’ll feel like a year before I can make proper use of a card.

Just remember boys and girls, and land in the hand, is worth 2 in the graveyard lol

I would love a game knights where there is a sub theme that doesn't affect the game at all, just for banter. As an example, my Food and Fellowship deck revolves around life gain, but it has a sub theme of television references. I have cards from Jurassic Park, Stranger Things, Doctor Who, and other secret lair drops.
