Don’t really understand the changes you have made. So the bubble pumps are now in the shallow area but the flow of water is unchanged?
ОтветитьI absolutely love how u brought the board out to the site 💚 awesome great video super informative and very engaging 💙 God bless you all
Ответитьlol this is perfect! :D
Ответитьalthough in the loop version the presure might be more equal, the water will still be sucked more close to the connection with the pvc pipe first. I'm building mine right now and i'll have a conventional pump sucking from the perforated pipes (not in a loop because lack of space) but i'll wrap with some geotextile a portion of the perforated pipe close to the pump so that the water will get also better sucked from far away as well (and make it more difficult for the water close to the pipe)
ОтветитьThanks for this David, can't wait to have a swimming hole
ОтветитьWhat a hero bird xD
ОтветитьMate, you are very informative and bloody entertaining......
ОтветитьLol awesome, I wanted to here more about your bubble pumps tho.
ОтветитьAmazing ....... Even the birds of the air are interested in your bubble pump placement .
ОтветитьDavid, how do I go about purchasing a couple of Olive Biofilters? Thanks
ОтветитьSo cool ! Thank you master /\ !
ОтветитьHa ha! That cameo was absolutely priceless,, as entertaining as ever.
ОтветитьI used two of your enhanced bubble pumps in my pond build, and the water is still crystal clear after two months. We're in Bulgaria with -25c winters and +40c summers so it will be intersting to see how well they do over a 12 month period. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
ОтветитьHave u tried a huge gravel filter style for the swim zone?
ОтветитьIt would be interesting to throw some food coloring into the bubble pumps to see how the water flows. Presumably it mostly flows into the swimming area and then sinks to the bottom?
ОтветитьAwesome ending! You always make me laugh.
ОтветитьBrilliant timing.. I'm going to convert my irrigation tank here in Portugal into a natural pool and this means I don't need to drill the walls. I just bought your ebook and am looking forward to having a go myself. Love your vids 👍🙌💚
ОтветитьThanks David, inspiring me to build one organic pool! Ah! She just wanted to learn this lesson :-)
ОтветитьExcelente.
ОтветитьPerfect timing as I'm just at this point in my pool build 😃.
Could you tell me please tell me David how you connect the land drain to the bubble pump is it a T espically if you're putting it in a loop?
I'm not a million miles from Norwich in Cambridge and have built a reasonable sized clay lined pool.
Hi David,
Can you do a video when you demonstrate how simpler this new installation is ?
Thank you,
Are all those 4 (or 6) PVC bubble pumps, connected to just 1 basic (60w or 100w) small air pump?
Ir there a ratio to control an even preasure? Ej. 4-1. Have you done this experiment?
Kind regards, and as always, thank you for sharing.
thank you for being a citizen scientist, maker and innovator <3 . check out \y/outuber
Mike Patey, his intro will be extreme as yours is grassroots and equally important. Mr Paganbuttler my Gram is from the valley of Neath, one over from the great slag slide. no not the prostitutes' convention
Quick question though, I haven’t seen anywhere so far, how strong does the air pump need to be?
ОтветитьDavid, you are inspirational. Thank you for pursuing this. Nature loves you.
ОтветитьBig thank you for your explanations and absolute brilliant way of conveying knowledge! Do you run your bubble pumps over the whole year or can they be turned off during winter time? Thanks in advance!
ОтветитьJesus you look so Ike the guy on Horrible Histories..cool
ОтветитьYou ARE Death from Horrible Histories!!
Ответитьhow come you don't use copper ion generators to mitigate algae grow?
i've seen your videos a bunch and you always show some dark, grudgy ponds and refer to them as natural swimming pools which they are not. a natural swimming pool should have a swimming area that has clear water in it and doesn't feel slimy as all hell and all that 'is' possible with copper ion generators which have been avaliable for ages as pond algae control devices.
the bottom line is, im all about natural swimming pools but im no rush to swim in the ones you make.
Hello from Siberia! Everywhere people love the energy of water and nature. I will make myself the same, only we have summer for 2 months.
ОтветитьHi David, can you please do a video on the revised bubble pump coming out of the planted zone?
Im wondering if it can be a straight piece of 100mm pipe with an elbow top and bottom.
Also the minimum depth or length the bubble riser will have to be?
Is 600mm to short to get the flow going?
Thank you.
Cheers Joe
New Zealand, just so you know yourve reached the bottom of the earth 👍
Hi David.
Question-
In the new setup of the bubble pumps being in the planted zone, is the air stone dropped from the top of the 110mm pipe? If so, how does this effect the pressure that is created from having a longer 6mm pipe?
Thanks in advance
Hi David Im currently working my way through all you videos which are amazing and so informative. I have 1 question tho..- How do you fix the sleepers to the top of the brick walls?? Keep up the great work..
ОтветитьYour videos are always so clear and informative. Now even nature wants to get in on the act. 🤣😂
ОтветитьWhat size pump should one use for a pond like yours? I see them sold by liters per minute--290, 370, Is Hakko a good brand? Others?
ОтветитьPerfect splurge at the end :-)
Ответить太感谢了!谢谢分享!生态泳池棒极了!👍👍👍
ОтветитьI want to pop u in my back pocket, and take u home with me!
LouiseAustralia 🦘
😂😂😂❤
ОтветитьOne thing for sure, bird agree to your plan😊
ОтветитьDavid, with 4 (or 6) self-contained bubblers, do they all have their own DIY fruit juice barrel filter now or utilize the same one? Thanks
ОтветитьThank's a Lot, from Chile 🇨🇱
ОтветитьI was just wondering do you use for each bubble pump circle a separate compressor?
ОтветитьHi I was wondering does the perforated land drainage pipe need flushed / cleaned out every so often and if so how do you go about doing so?
ОтветитьHello David!! Thanks for the abundance of information:)) I was wondering how it looks like when the bubbles are not going through the wall? Does the tube just end somewhat in front of the wall in an elbow piece upwards and will the airtube with airstone be there ?? You probably explain this somewhere…sorry for the perhaps unnecessary question, I just have some trouble finding it..
ОтветитьDo you us individual air pumps for each zone or a single large air pump? Also what size of air pump?
ОтветитьI just built my diy pond with your filtration system I’m still in the process of filling the water how do I know that the flow is working? Before putting all the gravel on top ?
ОтветитьThat's a fake bird used by big pump manufacturers to come and spy on you, ain't fooling nobody though.
