Introductory video ESLDO course by Toronto eSchool

This introductory video for Unit 1 Lesson 1 of the ESLDO course from the Ontario secondary school curriculum takes a student through the first lesson of the course, explaining what the student needs to do in the lesson and giving the student various strategies to be successful. Language is simplified for the ESL D level and visual supports are provided. In this video, students are also continuing to receive some support and tools they need to transition into the Ontario educational system successfully. Topics include: use of text-to-voice on smartphones, what is an essay, types of essays and complete/incomplete sentences.
