Phase 1 DPS Tier List | Classic Wrath

Combat is currently sim'ing -40 dps short of assassination on a ST 3 minute fight. But this guy doesn't think it's "God" tier. Doesn't need to be a short fight. If you consider snapshotting the S&D then sure Assa handedly trumps combat, but there's a solid chance it gets fixed.

Another thing to consider is the fact that Blade Flurry is currently copying the MH damage of your weapon with FoK. So in overall encounters and trash you could easily see combat severely out DPS assa

I'd say Boomie is like A- or B+ Dps. Sadly it all comes down to RNG. You can get fucked on fights not getting the eclipse you want when CDs are up. Or Just spamming 10 Spells in a row and no Proc. On the other hand... you get Insane RNG and your getting Procs exactly when you need them and its Suuuuuper good. Not Number 1 imo, But can hit top3 dps for sure.

All online tier lists end up putting too many things in their S tiers. There should be like 1-3 things at the top, otherwise the meaning gets watered down.

I used to play destr lock foto wotlk during Naxx n uld. Minimum DPS for raid it was to pull 1,500 DPS and I just turn 80 and was pulling that...which people didn't believe until a Chinese guild gave me a chance to prove it. I used to be the top 1st DPS , always in raid once I started to get gear...just remember, a good destro will beat everyone in DPS, for group mobs and boss fight. This was my exp. Back in the days.

So many classes you guys got wrong. Do you even play this game or played on private servers or beta? Surv Hunter, Destro hybrid are definitely god tier in Naxx.

this video aged well with the beta dps numbers lmao. they trashed warriors so heavily and arms is doing top 3 dps. beast mastery shitting all over survival and mm and enhancement is god tier. private server info is awesome, but you dont have enough viable information to pool off. look forward to seeing how things shake out.

Some things did not age well after Beta-Testing Naxx:

1. Enhance (especially Spellhance) is def God-Tier. It might be the single best spec in the game for naxx
2. MM below SV? We saw that MM, while having slightly lower ST dps, will heavily crush SV on overall dps
3. Also I would not consider Assa or Feral God-Tier

I really wish this ranking was based on pre raid BIS vs T7 Bis. I mean, once you're geared and your core has BIS, how much does it matter until T8? You're going to log on, clear all raids in about 2 hours then see you next week. I think the beginning of the phase is more important just so that you know what to expect. Getting a few pieces of gear for some classes id going to move that spec around a lot on the ranking.

Is this based off preraid gear going into raids or after you get geared and who does best?

I think a lot of your opinions were formed around playing in private servers at patch 3.3.5a with content locked to specific phases. You ddidn't take into account that between patches points to 1% ratio were diffrent for example you needed less arp rating to get 100% armor penetration in patch 3.1 than in patch 3.3.5a(patch 3.3.1a 1399 arp rating to cap but in 3.1.2 cap was at 1232 arp rating(both values of arp rating was giving 100% arp in their respective patches so private server experience could be diffrent or not deppends on how will blizzard implement this/did even blizzard remember about rating requirements to 1% stat changes between patches.

meh stopped watching during fury war speculation. wars were not top 1 or 2 on dps entirety of tbc. mage/lock/hunter ruled throughout period. wars only topped when fully bis'd out and getting multiple lusts with all dps cd's used on them. pass

I don't think either of you understand what the word viable means. Every spec is viable, meaning it can be played and does damage. That doesn't mean PVP specs are a good choice for raids.

Good video, you explained your stance on each class well but if just like to point out that “God Tier” is the longest line. It’s okay to put arguably really strong classes in the middle ground because it average or just above. God tier should have like 2 classes 3 at most lol otherwise it isn’t “God Tier”

ret basically has the same issues as warrior. Both get really good the higher the gear goes and both end up doing crazy damage in icc

I think one topic which is often forgotten in this videos:
That some classes may do less damage, but can buff something more easily wiht less damage loss.
Best example for me: Discussion about damage of warrior who have to do the phscial debuff versus wwarrior who can go damage while a rogue is doing the debuff.
--> Why is no one thinking about the BM doing the physical debuff just by choosing another pet (WORM !)
