Great stuff! I am studying for the IFR written knowledge exam. Is this presentation sufficient for the IFR written exam? THX.
ОтветитьListening to this in 2021, kinda crazy hearing y'all talk about ADS-B in the future tense
ОтветитьI'm glad that individual asked the question about how high humidity equals lower air density. I didn't realize that water vapor is lighter than air! Knowing that makes more sense now.
ОтветитьThis is more than amazing! I have learned a lot of stuff that I had no idea how to interpret. Big txs to you sir. Great job!!!
ОтветитьNeeded help with weather on instrument check ride, honestly couldn’t ask for a better video
ОтветитьGreat presentation. I could’ve done without the know it all continually chiming in in the background
ОтветитьI learned so much and the guy is a great teacher.
ОтветитьGreat instruction on Aviation weather. Thanks shipmate.
ОтветитьAs a student pilot, I found this to be invaluable! Weather is one of those things that was difficult to wrap my head around. Thank you so much for making it clear and easier to understand!
ОтветитьThis is AWESOME
ОтветитьThe laughter LMAOOO
ОтветитьThis guy is just excellent. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьThe 3 flying routes around the 40 minute mark do not make much sense to me. I feel like route 2 and 3 are switched in terms of flight efficiency. Seems as though the southern most route should be the quickest as it looks like the rotation of the high and low pressure systems would provide a tailwind. Am I misinterpreting something?
ОтветитьThanks. Things are starting to clear up!
ОтветитьI was a Master Instructor at the DoD's Weather Training Division, for eight years. I had a total of 33 years of aviation weather experience. I planned, designed, and wrote a 210 page manual on aviation meteorology, accepted for use by the Federal Aviation Administration, designed specifically to train flight dispatchers. It was called an "EWINS", or Enhanced Weather Information System. I watched this training...not bad, but it could be hugely improved.
ОтветитьWait a minute... HOW DID THIS GET IN MY RECOMMENDATIONS?!?!?!?!
ОтветитьHow the hell did I get this in my recommendations
ОтветитьVery lucky they were sitting in a Cessna !!! Imagine a PA 28 it would break in parts within a few seconds.
ОтветитьBest weather video I've found! So glad I came across this one. Thank you!!
Ответитьthank you for a great presentation and for helping me understand these topics better
ОтветитьIts 2022, I have my instrument check ride in a week and this is fucking priceless, thank you so much for this.
ОтветитьSir, lm just a beginner so l feel l will get the ethics of flying closely since it is the very first year of the training because l am a bit confused about the whether on flight since I can see that closely takes from the flight control Unit and the Aircraft from how l see is a program input from the the Check Ride to the Destination where the Pilot will have to get Busy again to input The significant Approach to Perfect Landing,so don't you think Most Pilots turns out to input other information to the Aircraft's performance and also other controls which might probably leads to some resulted crash because I watch the video on the Egyptian Aircraft crash and l saw how furious was the second captain input information resulting in the crash in the Mediterranean Sea and another where The Aircraft Significant Systematic audio says climb but the crew feeling to discend resulting in the crash Sir.
ОтветитьWatched this for my private ride. Back again for Instrument! Laughed so hard at “its nice everywhere except for Delaware” rip Delaware

ОтветитьInstrument checkride this wednesday and found this tressure right on time. Love it. add a thanks button. I will donate or send $$. thanks for this
ОтветитьGreat video, though it'd be nice to see examples from examples other than the US.
ОтветитьWow! I learned a lot from this video, no wonder it's approaching a million views. Excellent!
ОтветитьThis was incredible. Thank you so much
ОтветитьAmazing class! Thank you !

ОтветитьI bet this guy never thought that this much people would have learned about weather through this video. And I know a lot more students and instructors are going to be stopping by to watch this. Thanks for helping thousands of pilots!
Ответитьsuper helpful !!!! THANK YOU
ОтветитьThank you! I'm taking my part 107 (UAS) in a few weeks and weather is my weak spot!
ОтветитьVery good, I’m a commercial student in final stages of checkride prep and this is top notch real world Weather instruction
Ответитьso sad this info is for free he did the best weather job i ever seen in my life
ОтветитьDid somebody pay for this course? lol
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing job learned more from this vid then 3 books and 2 lessons combined
ОтветитьLearned more from this video than 2 years of flying and studying
ОтветитьI cannot thank Jonathan enough for making this video. I have seriously struggled putting all the pieces of weather together until I watched this brilliant video. Jonathan’s an amazing instructor.
ОтветитьDensity is mass per vol, water doesn’t actually take up more space the atoms are just lighter
ОтветитьWe had GS of 700kts going to SFO from Japan, coming back it's like standing still. Our TAS505kt,ISA.
Truly enjoyed your lessons..

I like the content of this video, but it seems to me that the presenter is making comments about the clouds with maybe a pointer, but it would have been so much better if he had used a method where the online viewer knew where he was describing.
ОтветитьWell, I learned something new with this…….the fact that the anvil of a thunderstorm is the jet stream! How cool!!!
ОтветитьThis video is really really informative to the point where it's actually entertaining! I looked at the high pressure and low pressure areas and looked at them like gears or screws in a supercharger moving the air along. Now I see how the winds aloft are generated and how you can take advantage of a deviation to get there faster! So cool! Thank you!
ОтветитьCFII here. I come back and watch this every few months, and have recommended it to everybody I know. Well done
