Ubuntu 21 04 ‘Hirsute Hippo’ first impression
As a short-term support version, Ubuntu 21.04 will receive 9 months of support, including continuous core bug fixes, security patches and new application releases. Version support will end in January 2022, and the recommended "upgrade" path will be Ubuntu 21.10.


Ubuntu 21.04 will not include GNOME 40. Ubuntu developers believe that GNOME 40 has undergone huge changes in design, and they need more time to "adapt" to these changes.
