can I record in mono but monitoring in stereo on my headphones?? I just would do mono mix to hear LR on headphones (instead of just L)
ОтветитьGood question! I don't have the unit to test that but I'll try and respond.
ОтветитьI have a question: can i record in 4ch mode with the 2 built-in mics plus 1 external mic in mono?
ОтветитьDo you use the zoom to record the audio to this video?
ОтветитьSo simple, yet so helpful. Thank you for this!
Ответитьthat is awsome. This a great box, used for live band recording.
Wanted to record in mono (ol school) and now I can,....thanks
Thanks for the quick video. Direct and to the point just like i Like it. =)
ОтветитьAwesome, exactly what I was looking for, simple, to the point, well made, thanks!
ОтветитьTHANKYOU! You have just made my day. :) This is exactly what I wanted to do.
ОтветитьHey Jeff. I don't have a mono mix option in the input menu. What should I do?
ОтветитьMate, you are a lifesaver! Thanks for that. Cheers
Ответитьwish I would have taken the ten seconds it took to find your one minute video before I spent all that time wishing it were this way. thanks
ОтветитьSo when i bring this sound file into my editor, ill have 2 channels, L and R? That's awesome. Thank you
ОтветитьIf I'm using binaural earphones then how should I record this in my zoom, do I use the mono mix? A bit confused.
ОтветитьEasy-peasy. Thanks so much! Short, and to the point. Much appreciated!
ОтветитьThank you!
Ответитьthanks man !
ОтветитьThank you SO much! I've been studiyn audio like mad recently and then there comes a time where you know what you need to do, but not how. THIS video whas exactly what I needed, straight to the point. Thanks!
ОтветитьDoes this record a mono, or stereo file?
ОтветитьThanks, Jeff. Short. To the point. Wish you'd written the manual. Wish I'd seen this B4 cursing the h4n for an hour then finding your video.
ОтветитьSo now the question. Why you can´t set mono mix at 4 Channel mode? Is there a way to record "stereo" in 4 Channel mode?
ОтветитьMay I answer a deeper question:
When h4n is set as shown in this video, it seems that the machine copies the L side to the R side from input 1 to get an even stereo sound. What should I do if I use a built in stereo microphone so that it sends L and R unevenly into input 1? Or say, Would it be possible to record a literally dynamic stereo sound through a single input?
so helpful
ОтветитьHi Jeff, I don't have Mono Mix on my H4N - do you know why that is? Problem Solved Jeff! OE Operator Error - i was IN 4 Channel mode - ouch! but a good learning experience :))
ОтветитьTHANK YOU
Ответитьyeah sure but that still creates a stereo wav file, just with both channels being identical, which wastes recording space. H4n simply doesn't implement that.
ОтветитьMuchas gracias, algún peruano aquí?
ОтветитьCan someone please shed some light on if you can get a mono mix while in 4 CH mode? Meaning - I have my mic plugged into input 1 and I am also using the onboard mics on the H4N BUT my Input 1 is only recording on the left side and I cannot turn on mono mix for that input... Not possible?
ОтветитьI would subscribe but I see you don't reply to your followers.
That's a real turn off.
