*Update * the shrimp now come off the Gulf of America
Ответить400 pounds isn’t a ton 😆
ОтветитьI dont eat meat
I hate spices
I loathe statistics. So, why do it love you guys
Being from philly not into the bread, but love narlins
ОтветитьOysters Po Boy is the only test of these restaurants
ОтветитьNever been to “killer po boys” because I don’t make it downtown much but this looks like a damn tourist trap, something Denver would try to throw together—hard pass.
ОтветитьIt’s crazy to me how everyone comes to visit NOLA but honestly it’s just like a big small town to me. Ain’t hard to get around. I do most of my cooking at home but once in awhile we hit our spots
Ответить“Whose idea was it to shoot this in hurricane season?
Someone who doesn’t live in this country” 😂
need that snorlax shirt
ОтветитьIt poor boy.
ОтветитьGuy's was my go to spot when I lived in New Orleans. Glad to see it on here. Domilise's was also a favorite.
ОтветитьJust getting started and I like the first choice but 400 lbs is NOT almost a ton....LOL. A ton is 2000 lbs.
ОтветитьI definitely agree that a tomato can ruin the texture of a good sandwich due to too much moisture and they don’t really add a lot flavour wise impo !!!
Ответить⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ОтветитьI think you guys should have been taking BIGGER BITES.
Open your noisemakers...push the sandwich in...open yer jaws a little more, push again and then bite off a MF'ing chunk-a-chunk. Then try to chew. C'mon....these little mouse nibble bites are not gonna cut it.
I hate what new orleans I'd becoming
ОтветитьParkway all day baby
ОтветитьThat’s iqf frozen shrimp.
ОтветитьBelieve it or not the best po boy I ever had in New Orleans was at the original Popeyes
ОтветитьI got a barbaque beef po-boy from park way horrible not what I expected at all
ОтветитьMy grandfather drove a truck hauling bananas from the docks that were under the Hwy 90 bridge where the mall/museum are now, that was late 60’s early 80’s. I still remember the big red food truck that served there and their roast beef po-boy. And there was a po-boy joint in Metairie on Airline Hwy just before the airport that was great also. Every once in a while we would go to Tony’s on Bourbon St. Lord the bread they served is still seared into my brain.
ОтветитьI’m glad somebody finally exposed the restaurants in New Orleans New Orleans only go to two of these places, killer poor boy it’s not a real thing Doli don’t know what they come from and guys fix your food with his bare hand. We don’t do that.
ОтветитьBeen living in and around new orleans for almost 50 years. Roast beef poboys are supposed to be messy. If its not dripping gravy and mayo its not done right. My favorite place is Red Wagon. Grocery on Jefferson Highway. Some of the bestt sandwiches in the city, along with the best red beans in the city.
ОтветитьWho told you these were the best three places??? Because I’m from New Orleans and I believe you’d have to be local to really know where and what is the best. That last place if NOT a poboy! I don’t care what anyone says! Stick to the old ways!!!!!! If it ain’t broken don’t fix it!
ОтветитьWhat about NOLA Poboys in the quarter?
ОтветитьGUY'S RB IS BOGUS. YOU SERVE A NATIVE SLICED ROAST BEEF, AND YOU WON'T LIKE WHAT HE HAS TO SAY ABOUT IT. IT'S PULLED RB OR IT'S NOTHING. MY G.F. IS A LEIDENHEIMER AND HER FAMILY OWNS LEIDENHEIMER BAKERY, AND YOU PRONOUNCED IT RIGHT. YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER PO-BOY BREAD ANYWHERE, AND JUST ABOUT EVERY PO-BOY JOINT IN TOWN USES IT.
ОтветитьNothing says Poboy (Poor Boy) like pumpkin hummis and chorizo!
ОтветитьCome back Inn...........metairie
ОтветитьGreat in-depth video I needed this for my upcoming trip.
ОтветитьThe only roast beef poboy that can compete with Parkway is Mother’s. Even better is the Ferdi, which is roast beef and ham.
ОтветитьPart way through....don't like the no gloves at Guy's.
ОтветитьI can't remember who it was but once I heard / saw someone ranting about the correct way to pronounce New Orleans. But they did then say "Oh, except for the British, they're allowed to say 'New Or-leens." So I think you're off the hook Harry.
ОтветитьThis dude likes dry sandwiches with no tomato😂😂gtfoh
ОтветитьWhen you are in New Orleans or Louisiana for that matter the drinks you should get to go with a PoBoy to be real New Orleans is a long neck bottle Barq’s or any flavor Big Shot soda! Big Shot sodas are the real deal New Orleans!
ОтветитьI love a good po boy. A lot of natives who speak Yat say Nu Awlins or N’Awlins.
ОтветитьMy last time at Cafe du Monte, they gave us 6 beignets and almost a whole box of powdered sugar. The server then asked if I needed artificial sugar with my coffee. I’m thinking, “Sure, I’m allergic to real sugar.” 😂
ОтветитьYou should try a New Orleans BBQ shrimp po-boy. very messy but delicious.
ОтветитьSorry the bread looks like shit. Too much dough , not enough crunch. Last week I had a Philly Sandwich at Uncle Gus in Philly. The bread was delicious, perfect, crunchy, they took out all the dough and filled it with meat. Much better than this.
ОтветитьNow then everybody twerk
ОтветитьHarry gets a blue Powerade multiple times whenever he's in the US, yet he's still surprised by "how blue" it is 😛
ОтветитьAs someone that lived in Baton Rouge for several years, the weather in Louisiana is either raining, humid or both. Absolutely love and miss Po'Boys
ОтветитьY’all need to try Red Wagon in Harahan, La and Bears…ten minutes or so from New Orleans. Yum!
ОтветитьGot me a pork belly sandwich at killer poboys once. Need to remember to go downtown to get another one. That sandwich haunts my dreams.
ОтветитьLouisiana food can compete with any food in the world, the entire state tbh especially if we talking seafood base and roux/stews
Ответитьya'll missed the alarmingly blue comment, suggesting america and it's food dyes & coloring lmao
ОтветитьI agree on the tomatoes they don’t belong on sandwiches. 🤢
ОтветитьBanning tomato. I like that! Makes no sense to put a soggy tasteless nuisance on a perfectly good sando
Ответить
