The 'auto-heal/auto-zil' feature is probably picked up from Vampire Survivors, which introduced the feature some time back (it got tedious after a while of having to pick the option, especially if you levelled up 100+++ times in a row). The Vampire Survivors feature is a bit intelligent; if you picked auto-heal, it spawns a chicken which you then eat, /but/ if you are at full health, it gives you the money instead. Nice game, though. A bit of a throwback to the old JRPGs, like you pointed out.
