In my opinion, anyone who said that Linear is suitable only for gaming has a big touch-typing skills issue and never seen an office worker typing on their membrane keyboard with a god-like speed and accuracy.

Tactile guarantees bottoming out as the excess force to overcome bump overpowers the spring.With linear I can choose whether bottom out or not. Which also control whether to make bottom out sound or not. However hitting on top on its way back will happen anyway. I did not liked tactile switches after using linear at first but over the course of few weeks I think I cannot go back to linear. I had outemu red and those were not bad for the price but was not helping me typing very accurately being too light and scratchy. So I had to try some other and then I realized the more I try the more I get confused because all switches from a certain level up are really good and each offers an unique feeling and the choices are practically endless. The more I use one switch the more my fingers get used to it. Basically it is 90% habit and 10% preference. I just had to stop thinking about other switches and my fingers become happy with whatever I got (Outemu cream yellow and Akko cream blue ) So probably whatever you are having is good enough. Don't bother trying them too much because it is an endless pit and more you try more your liking will be confused and you will end up wasting a lot of time and money.
