When I was a kid many years ago, I made my first unaccompanied flight in a DC3. I sat in a bulkhead seat. Back then, the “stewardess” would bring a tray of finger sandwiches to the passengers in the first row. Having never flown before, I did not know you were supposed to take one and pass the tray to the next row. We sat there and ate all but a few. When the stewardess realized the tray had not been passed back, she came up found out. We explained we didn’t know we were to pass the tray, she gave a big smile and didn’t throw us off/out! That was my first and only unaccompanied flight!
ОтветитьSoul. Can you get it with a Basler ?
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьGreat tribute to my favorite plane.
ОтветитьWOOOOW!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful machine. Every DC-3 looks great but this one in particular is absolutely stunning.
ОтветитьYou needed a camera person at the other end to capture the growling sounds of those engines.
So glad this one is flying and not stuck in some museum someplace.
I want this vintage style plane back as passanger service 😭
ОтветитьI wish I could fly in one for short haul flights. Why don't they make them anymore.
My faverate vintage passanger plane.
Hermoso y el sonido espectacular el mejor avión de todos los tiempos ❤😊🎉
ОтветитьI have always thought that the DC-3 was one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built.
ОтветитьI have always liked this plan since i was 11 year old boy Still love the sound and look of the plane She looks good
ОтветитьLove how the P&W powered DC-3 sounds like music, something I have loved about these since I was a child. The DC-3 is now 88 years old.
See one landing every day on my way to work at OPF in Florida. It comes from Nassau Bahamas
ОтветитьIs the year of this Douglas dc-3 plane 1946?
ОтветитьNothing like the happy chuckle of taxying P&Ws
ОтветитьI was insisde of dc3 in Netherlands planr museum
ОтветитьOne of my faverate vintage classic passanger planes. Is it still used for passangers?
ОтветитьThat DC-3 runs as smoothly as a Swiss watch. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThe aircraft from GTA San Andreas
ОтветитьOne example of a machine built right the first. Many DC3s are still flying decades after they were first built. Really tough airplane
ОтветитьOne of the best looking airframes ever designed and built, DC-3 / C-47.
Another one is B-17.
As a kid living on Cape Cod, MA in the 1970's, I got to fly to Boston one time, and part of the safety speech, the pilot said everytime that DC - 3 took off, it set another record, as it was the highest flight hour DC-3 in existence.
That was an Air New England plane. I wonder what happened to that plane now.
I hope it's still working and flying. What a great plane.
Very quiet even at their loudest. Are they so quiet even when the listener is on the ground? Best for night raids.
ОтветитьBeautiful.
ОтветитьHello mate. Today 22 april, was in my garden and listening a Radial engine sound. So watch a DC3 flying above my house. I check immédiatly FR24 on my phone and it was this plane.
The flight was from GrenchenQYG to GironaGRO Spain. It was 11h50 and flying 2700m at 222kmh. Time of trip 3h15. This DC3 flies back to Bern 1 hour later but overfly the Sea towards Nîmes and Avignon for a 2h20 flight. After stopover in BernBelp, take off again to GrenchenQYG.
Are you aware about this flight ??🙋👍
ngl it sounds like my electric fan when i turn it up on number 5
ОтветитьNice!😎
ОтветитьSimplemente fantástico!
ОтветитьStunning footage. DC-3 one of my favorites 👍😎
Ответитьnice catch........please upload video in blackwhite
ОтветитьFor me an absolute "eye-candy" ~ love it !!!
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful aircraft. The mosquito control district had several of these and I fondly remember them flying in formation at low altitude over our house when I was a kid.
Thanks for the awesome video👍
Fantastic!!!
ОтветитьWoah! That sound man…! Amazing capture! How happy I would be having this in my memory card! Superb clip man!!
ОтветитьThat Is a beauty
ОтветитьFor some reason, this is one of my favorite aircraft. Ijust love the classic look and the incredible sound. Well done, mate! Fantastic video!!
ОтветитьIncredible catch Matt!!
ОтветитьWow , what an interesting looking aircraft.
I would love to take a ride on that .
Takes me back to those old war movies that had these types of aircraft's .
Good video Matt !
😊
ОтветитьMy Mom and I flew on a Western airlines DC-3
From Sacramento to
Santa Monica and the
Stewardess was passing around a basket of gum calling
Out "Chicklets any one"
before takeoff to help
Pop our ears in an
unpressurized plane!!
Great video! And veteran plane mate😍
ОтветитьThe airplane that did a lot to win WWII.
ОтветитьGorgeous!
ОтветитьI remember standing in front of the old Mount Hope hanger looking up at the thing - ten feet off the ground if it was an inch (part of Austin Airways fleet servicing James and Hudsons Bay on winter maintenance), and the letters making up Trans-Canada Airlines barely peeking through.
ОтветитьFantastic video! Really nice catch! I got to go inside a DC-3 not too long ago :)
ОтветитьOh, what a gem ~ love it, thanks !
ОтветитьKlasse Fang und wie immer Super Video !! LIKE
ОтветитьPerhaps the greatest aircraft ever built. Developed in 1935 and is still in service in many parts of the world.
ОтветитьAwesome old plane!
