ABOUT THE VIDEO:
When we say there's no other dancer like Sergei Polunin, many of us aren't talking about his technique or ability alone, as if no other dancer could compare to him or even better him in some areas, but it's the personal, raw quality of himself that Sergei brings to his dance that no other dancer can emulate and no one else will ever be able to repeat. And when we watch him dance, no other dancer invites us to flight quite like Sergei. This montage was a reflection on the many times Sergei has been knocked down in life and continued to get up and keep dancing and giving of himself, and how, as he gives of himself through his dance, many of us who watch him are given the gift of "flying" with him, in our own ways.
