SAO's Legend is a free Sword Art Online MMORPG girl friend in the game, ranging from a Berserker Healer to a Dragon Master, who helps you in battle.

Sword Art Online is a Japanese light novel series written by Reki Kawahara with illustrations from Abec. The series happens in the near future and focuses on numerous virtual reality MMORPG worlds.

The series spans several virtual reality worlds, beginning with the titular world of Sword Art Online. Each world is developed on a game engine called the World Seed, which was initially developed for SAO by Akihiko Kayaba, but was later duplicated for ALO, and later willed to Kirito, who leaked it online with the successful intent of reviving the virtual reality market.

In 2022, a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game called Sword Art Online (SAO) is released. With the NerveGear, a helmet that promotes the user's 5 senses by means of their brain, players can experience and manage their in-game characters with their minds. Both the video game and the NerveGear was created by Akihiko Kayaba.

On November 6, 10,000 players log into the SAO's mainframe online world for the first time, to discover that they are unable to log out. Kayaba appears and tells the players that they must beat all 100 floors of Aincrad, a steel castle which is the setting for SAO, if they want to become free. Those who suffer in-game death will suffer real-life deaths.

Among the players named Kazuto Kirigaya (Kirito) is one of 1,000 testers in the video game's previous closed beta. With the benefit of previous VR video gaming experience and a drive to safeguard other beta testers from discrimination, he isolates himself from the greater group and plays the video game alone, bearing the mantle of "beta tester", "beater" or "cheater". As the players progress through the video game Kirito ultimately befriends a girl named Asuna Y?ki, forming a relationship with and later marrying her in-game. After the pair discover the identity of Kayaba's secret ID, who was playing as the leader of the guild Asuna participated, they confront and destroy him, releasing themselves and the other players from the video game.
