really like that set up seems to be super handy I work on Cummins every day and warranty and there software stuff can be a pain

does this system read codes on john deere and cat and provide information on how to fix it? or does it just give you the codes and you have to ask the dealer on what to look for to diagnose a problem. where i live its mostly all john deere and cat machines and some case. would like your input on this, thanks

Thanks for the review of the Texa system, your video is the first I have seen with it connected to a running engine! I like the fact that you use it as well in your daily operations as a mechanic & not another sales man pitch. Does the price include the laptop or is that just for the Texa box, software and cables?

I have the texa navigator and i am very disappointed when hooking up to an ECU yesterday i tried for at least 20 minutes to hook up to 2005 freightliner columbia with MB4000 then plugeged in my nextiq 1 with my DDDL sofware no problem. im getting sick of this

I have a question, will texa diagnostic work on cat of highway equipments, will it do transmission fill clutch calibration, pilot joy stick calibration. Thanks (subscribed).

Very interesting. As a farmer can we use this tool to calibrate ivt trans on Deere equipment as well as does it give ideas that the problem can be other then just give a code readout. We also mainly run Cummins and Detroit so I could see it being very useful in that point. In our are due to lack of John Deere dealer support I would like to see something that could get us away from expensive travel time for the techs

Does the unit graph data that you can save? I do a lot of driveability and the graphing on Insite helps a lot. I just take the excel file and upload it to another site so I can see the entire picture in front of me from the test drive.🙂

Good looking tool. I have the Cummins tool and it's good but it doesn't help me with my other manufacturers products. Seems like your tool is a one stop shop so to speak.

What exactly is configurations in a ecu. After the dealer does the programming.what are you configuring.could somebody who understands it well could you please explain thank you so much

does all of this come with actual diagnostic assistance like wiring diagrams, service repair bulletins, procedures on how to take something apart and reassemble. Like case ih has it where you can do a assist and receive unlimited help on repairing a problem you may have issues trying to repair

​​@Western Truck and Trailer Repair, I am looking at getting this from Cornwell and it's coming with all the software to do Cars, Trucks, Offroad & Marine for $6,300 was wondering what your experience with this setup is so far since you've had yours for 2+ years ( Pro's / Con's ) on it for the Texa /w PC and if there is anything i should watch out for or do differently ?


I need it to do the Resets for Services on his truck & it will allow me to work on the Semi's we have @ our company ( I am the Truck Supervisor and Manage a 4 Truck and Growing Fleet ) so it should help me with the Kenworth T-800's & the Pickups ( Ford F-550's & Dodge Ram 3500HD ) that we use for smaller stuff


Just trying to make sure i make an Informed choice on this as it's still a decent purchase by all means..

I otta just design a totally different type of software from scratch that will work with the hardware on the tractor and then I'll prototype a controller board for the tractor,program it and lock john deere out of the tractor so they no longer have control over the it and only the owner has control over it and so they don't have update as often.
