I don’t get the fascination with Tennessee. Tennessee historically has been a way better program and gets better players most years than South Carolina. Sure Tennessee was down 10-12 years, but they still got players in those years also. Is it money? Probably so. They have several big hitters that that donate to their school and sports programs where South Carolina does not. We should be comparing to schools in our league like Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss. The sad thing is those teams are whooping us to in the last several years on recruiting and on the field. Let’s get above those guys before worrying about Tennessee. This staff needs to step up their game in recruiting and on the field or they’ll be out the door.

So, we've had success. We have proven coaches. Had an offensive linemen go first round in the 22 draft. But it' starts with coaching and development. If your offenses have been top ten like TN's has since Heupel got to TN, with the exception of last year your going to get the attention of top blue chips. Before TN, Heupel's had only top 5 and 10 offenses and you need a good line to make that happen. Elerbee is a very good line coach. So, your saying you don't have any line success unless you win x amount of games regardless if some of your units, like say rushing offense ranks #1, you've had no success? Your not football dumb, so don't act like it.. lol Blue chips this high don't come to a school without that school having receipts and a number one ranking of the rushing offense last year is a good start. Darnell Wright is a good start. Nullified Will Anderson of Alabama in 2022 game. 1st round pick. Those are receipts of success and if that didn't happen, would have been much harder to get Sanders.
