In New Vegas I slaughtered everyone but the citizens of Good springs....... Everyone...... Yet somehow they all were there in the final battle....... Now I'm playing fallout 3 and I'm not sure what to think........ You lose karma for picking up items in abandoned buildings and even items that once belonged to those which you've killed..... Either way I digs it

You left out something about both the Enclave and The BrotherHood of Steel both are Xenophobic and wont recruit outside thier numbers normally Lyons was the exception not the rule in this case and the Captial Brotherhood was Excommunicated for not adhearing to thier beliefs

Great video! But do let me provide a bit more info on Vault 106, since there’s some more to it.

For starters, Vault 106 was first mentioned in the Fallout Bible 0, though at the time it was only said that "Psychoactive drugs were released into the air filtration system 10 days after the Door was sealed."

There's some additional info we can get from the enemies inside the vault... with the contract killer and law bringer perks. In short, contract killer makes good human NPCs drop ears upon death, while law bringer will make evil human NPCs drop fingers upon death. This means that we can learn if a character is supposed to be evil or good from this, and the result sin Vault 106 are... interesting to say the least. Insane survivors will all drop ears, suggesting that they are good people that went insane. The "survivor" at the end of the vault however, will drop a finger, indicating that he is the only evil character populating the vault.

For starters, this survivor is wearing one of the few vault tec lab coats in the game, making hims stand out not just form the rest of the survivor in the vault, but overall. The fact that he isn't labeled as "insane" also points towards him not being affected by the drugs in the vault... which should only be possible with the knowledge that the staff running the experiment had about the safe areas in the vault, not to mention the ability to regulate the pumping of the drugs in the air system as needed. In other words, I strongly suspect this guy is continuing to run Vault 106's experiment 200 years after the greta war, attracting wastelanders as you suggest, which seems confirmed by the contents of some lockers by the entrance of the vault, with lots of gear you wouldn't expect to see in a locked vault.

On a different note, another character wearing a vault tec lab coat is the "surgeon" found in the Red Racer factory, who is also conducting experiments... though on feral ghouls and super mutants. To everyone's surprise, he has actually been successful at controlling both kinds of creatures, with the super mutants even giving him information on the existence of Behemoths, which according to his logs, the surgeon now wants too capture one to also experiment with it and potentially control it, a prospect that sounds possible given that he can even control feral ghouls. Anyway, his connection with vault-tec is unexplained: the lab coat suggest he could have come from a vault, or at least been to one (vault 92's door has been left open, so there do is the possibility he got it from there, though the place is also bobby trapped and full of mirelurks by the time FO3 takes place). Still, can't help but wonder if there's a deeper connection between the surgeon and the vault 106 survivor.

What i don't understand about Vault 112's failsafe is that why doesn't it also kill Braun? Didn't he say it'd put an end to everyone's life including his? How is he still alive?

Out of all the Fallout games I've played, Vault 87 is definitely the most unsettling

Valut-Tec is such an evil corporation. What's scary is that it could be possible today, and it probably is close to it today. I loved the show, it showed a lot of love to a series of games that the franchise and I can't wait for another season of this show. What are your thoughts Harry? Also just a curious question, what's your favorite power armor? And what's your favorite beast in fallout? And if you don't mind me asking can we be friends?

I wonder if when we get to see Fallout 6, we'll get to see the colony starship. Just because the Enclave never got to launch the project don't mean that they didn't build the rocket, I really doubt they could've built the whole thing after the Great War anyways with most of humanity and its technology going up in smoke, it'd probably make more sense to build the ship as basic as possible, get the Vault data, then modify the ship based on the data before launch. That'd be a conundrum for us, launch the rocket and hope the second home world doesn't blow itself up like Earth did or blow up the rocket and make us learn from our mess instead of tossing it aside.

I never liked Fallout 3 but the Vaults were interesting. I love the mind control one since you could use it to deter them mirelurks.

They should of had the Fallout TV show Vaults be more messed up.
