So im 105 kg that 240 pounds.... how am i going to get 240 grams of protein? thats insane, i guess thats a good thing, if i'm eating that much to get protein, i dont have room for carbs or alcohol

Yes it is the enemy for the majority of the population,m the obesity epidemic tells us that.....though I think it's more the carbs and jighly processed foods than the alcohol

Funny. After the elimination of the obvious variables, the "SELF CONTROL" remains. It's the most important part. Worked for me, I applied something similar, lost 21kg already. I can confirm this works if you have self-discipline.

U mean, I weight 65 kg, that's about 143 pounds, 150 gr of protein a day is a lot, like, 500 grs of lean meat plus 100 grs of raw chickpeas,

No arguments from me, but really we are talking about cutting out sugar, anything made with flour, and booze. As stated, this is not complicated, but it isn't easy. Still: cut out the booze, cut out all the sugar you possibly can (we do not control the sugar content in packaged foods), and cut out flour, and watch the fat melt off. Fibrous carbs like vegetables will not interfere with this so long as protein is a priority, and neither will things like rice or potatoes in moderation. I really think the toughest for most people are the sugar and the booze. Just my opinion. But cut those things and you will see magical results, after a couple of weeks, guaranteed.

Genetics is the main thing I think, I’m not bigging myself up, but I’ve eaten and drank anything I’ve wanted since I was a kid, I’m 50 now and still have a 6 pack, lean athletic without doing any exercise as rule.

Carbs absolutely are the enemy. Exogenous carbohydrates are contraindicated - the exact daily requirement in the diet is zero grams. Jeff has a lot to learn about nutrition.

I've lost from 260 down to 175. I've:
1. Cut out almost all fast food and restaurant food
2. Swapped from regular bread to 45 calorie bread
3. Started counted calories and aim for a 300-500 calorie deficit
4. Increased my protein to 150+ grams per day
5. Cut out all regular soda--sugar free if I'm craving soda
6. Started walking at least 3 miles per day, and when it's nice out I aim for 6+
7. Started doing 10 minutes of strength training with high weights (for me) to failure at least 2-3 days per week
8. Continued eating everything I like, but in moderation

#8 has been extremely important. I'll have a square of chocolate nearly every day; but only a square, not an entire bar like I would have in the past. I'll have a burger, but it's 1/4 pound instead of 1/2 pound. I'll have stir fries, but with more chicken and vegetables and less sauce and rice. I'll have homemade mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving with just a light drizzle of turkey gravy instead of processed mashed potatoes from a box (with more than a cup of gravy).

Being able to satisfy my desire for tasty food, even if it's in moderation, makes it so much easier to eat healthier in general.

My goal is to finish off the rest of my belly fat, and then start focusing more on muscle growth. I'm up to 150 pounds on my bench press (with two 75 lb dumbbells) from 60 pounds when I first started. I'm up to 38 dips when I started at 1. I can jog six miles straight, and before I started working on my weight and fitness I could barely jog a single block.

I could be putting in more effort, but I'm severely depressed and extremely poor, so this is about the limit of my mental energy right now. And it's enough. And if it's enough for me, then it's enough for pretty much anyone. You don't have to completely change your life, and you don't even have to make all the changes I made overnight. You can change one thing at a time, like I did, until eventually you've changed enough to reach your goals. And eventually you WILL get stuck somewhere. Probably more than once. And when you do, that's when you know it's time to change something, even if it's just one more change it'll make the difference. Most recently, for me, going from 180 to 175 required walking a little bit more; and I chose that over cutting down on my potato chips that I like to eat at lunch, but I could have done either option.

Hogwash. This guy is talking completely outside of his knowledge base and will set you up for cancer. High carb diets force the body out of ketosis into sugar fermentation energy production in the mitochondria, which is an oxygen-deprived state and facilitates cancer cell propagation. Cancer cells can only feed off sugars (and glutamine), so why feed them???

I do have a question, so since I can remember, I only eat one meal a day, mostly one large meal. Can this affect the body's fat-burning processes in a negative way? I have tried to split the meal into smaller portions and do it like 3 times a day, but as soon as I eat one time, I'm full for the rest of the day and struggle to do the other portions later.

I think that you are very smart, but portion control is required. You said, your not going to eat ten steaks. Your wrong there. I'll eat three chickens, maybe not ten steaks but five for sure. I went from 286 to under 200.

Sleeping every day was huge, I used to not sleep every day.
I try to eat 180 grams protein but I don't always.
I work out in the gym twice a week and do long walks and jogs three days.
I was tracking calories while losing weight. I stopped tracking calories two years ago, but I am planning to start again and lose 15 more pounds of fat.
It's hard to get motivated to lose this last 15 lbs it's not urgent like it felt when I weighed 286.
Point is that it's the portion control and only the portion control that worked for me.

I found having 30g of glutamine daily to help maintain my muscle mass as I cannot eat enough to maintain muscle due to ibs.
Cutting out gluten has helped inflammation but I cannot do strength training as my muscles seem to fatigue out very quick. It's also messed my electrolytes

One thing just came to mind watching this video. From the Warrior Diet, Ori said eat your meals this way. Imagine an average plate of food. First focus on consuming your protein, second veggies. This way your satiated enough so your carb intake is far less. Stay active, move often.
Hope this helps next time your sitting at the dinner table. Or putting portions on your plate.
