This is not a trick-taking game. It is a drafting game that uses the numbers on the cards to determine draft order.

I think this is a "I need to play this before I decide to buy it" game

The visual design on this seems a bit confusing. The back of the cards and the box art has a very distinct Japanese feel, but the cards themselves look rather generic.

Maybe to simplify the first part of the game cards could be picked up in order like Carcassonne?  Or the card drafting element could be modified to something like Sushi Go or Notre Dame?
