What's going on with Delta quality and Delta service??? Third blogger reporting inflight service as low as the price is high!

You probably know that Delta just opened an exclusive Delta One lounge at JFK-New York. Delta Sky Club member cannot access it. Only Delta One passenger and 360 (I believe). It is Delta's step into more premier service. Could be worth a review.

I did it last year to London Heathrow and I wished I didn't. 6" tall and about 350lbs, it felt really cramped, every time you move you hit something (not good when sleeping), putting on/taking off the seatbelt with your non-dominant hand is bad, settling the seat in a correct position to relax was also not great (my recliner at home and AMC movie theater chairs are way better). Now the positives: service was extraordinary, bathrooms were clean, food was really good. We paid in full for our tickets, we will definitely fly with Delta again, just in comfort+ where the balance is just so much better (food, amenities, service, space, utility/function).

As a diamond medallion member, I can say that I have never heard or witnessed anyone being denied a soft-drink....This is a very odd review. Bias?????

I will be flying Delta one for the 4th time in August and really enjoy it. The new Delta One lounge is suppose to be amazing at JFK. Just opening June of 2024.

Currently sitting in a delta one suite where they had to come clean either finger or toenail clippings by “counter”. There was also a mechanic who had to come beat something in one of the aisle seats next to me because it’s jammed. Can’t wait to see what else pops up!

We just flew Delta One Suites on the 330 neo from JFK to Athens and it was terrible. The absolute worst business class transatlantic experience ever. The seats were so uncomfortable, whether sitting or lying down. The food was marginal. We actually flew back on Delta's 767 older "pod" lay flat seat, and that was better (not classified "Delta One") than what they consider their best experience. I'm going back to my other airlines for business class in future. What is Delta thinking?

To be fair, best US airline is a low bar. And the D1 suites with doors are plenty private, best hard product in US airlines at least that I've had.

I remember when flying was a vacation in itself! I was lucky as a little girl to fly transpacific on Pan Am! Now, flying is better anywhere else in the world than in the USA. It had devolved to little more than a bus trip. I cannot believe they actually served you, in First Class, that excuse for food. I am in a place where we can and do fly first class but chose only Alaska and am looking forward to a trip to Italy this year. I asked my sweet husband to please get us tickets on another airline than any from the US. Delta should be ashamed to do this. It just shows they lie and do not care about you, they only want your $$

Delta needs more work

I find Delta to be quiet rubbish anyway tbh. I always bring my own food on every single flight I take and if I go first or have lounge access then I bend a salad or sarnie from there … I clean my own seat and surrounds when I board … People don’t have integrity any more and this I can rely on then to even do their jobs …

The Boeing 767-400 is an old plane. The "retrofitted" 767 have a completely different older look and feel to them. Delta is, and will forever be, the best US airline, and best US first class with the Delta one suites in the a350's and a330neo's!

This video was taken a couple years back around the time of the pandemic, but if Delta is still serving box snacks in first class in place of a course meal, that is unacceptable

Delta and United are horrific airlines, I flew ITA ( owned by Delta), to Italy, it was awful , the flight attendants did the bare minimum, I flew economy, but the meal was inedible , and the choice of screen entertainment. was horrible as well, NEVER will I fly Delta again. CHEAP BASTARDS

Don't bother with Delta AT ALL!! In 2015 I was flying (first class - a splurge using points) from SEA to Key West. Nowhere during the reservation process nor on the website, nor in my printed materials or ticket did it say you could only bring one bag. Turns out that was a rule due to the limited runway on Key West. Fine, but you need to put that in the contract. The jackass check in agent, and I sure wish I could remember his name and publish it here, refused to let me check both bags. There was no time to go home and return. And I would have insisted on getting my money back and made other arrangements, but I was meeting a family member in Key West who was flying in from another city. When I took out my phone to record this fiasco the jack ass agent left and didn't return. Had to abandon a brand new Samsonite hard shell carry on suitcase on the floor of SeaTac airport. Vowed I would never fly Delta again and I haven't! And I never will! Couldn't be happier!

This is just domestic flights and if this one was international, you would’ve had a much better experience. Also a lot of the bad things you pointed out are just covid protocol. Everything has changed.

Sun county airlines is more reasonable prices and delta prices went up and with sun county airlines you get Awards card and save money on bags and tickets and not saying delta a bad airlines I have keep my budget

Please tell me how these events make it impossible to provide a shitty can of Coke on a plane. Whenever I encounter inexplicable nonsense like this, my first thought is, ok someone didn't restock the soft drinks on that flight, and to cover their mistake, they're making up this crap about "we don't offer that". They're banking on the reality that most people won't take the time to file an official complaint, and even if they do, no follow up will be done. Grrrrrr.

Covid was an excuse for the airlines to cut back on service. Post the photos of the dirty tray table on social media and write a letter to Delta mentioning the flight the seat number with the ditty tray table.
